Zen Cottage was lovely in every way. Kay also looked after us, giving local advice and suggestions and going far beyond what we expected when we needed a little help with our trip. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was 5 star. She is a genuinely fantastic, interesting person and if you're lucky enough to find that Zen Cottage has a vacancy, you should take it before it gets snapped up by someone else.

Everything was perfect. We felt really at home. Best things were Kay's hospitality and her commitment. She personally guided us through the village, the area and its highlights, showed us not broadly known gems. In the morning, she accompanied us on the first mile of our hiking trip. Comfortable rooms in a quiet back street of Winchcombe. The host is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Great location for Cotswold walking. The breakfast is brilliant with home baked granola and fruits. A short walk to the centre of town with good pubs and eating options.

Breakfast was delicious. Kay made us a sandwich especially for our hike. Very quiet and restful. Kay gave us recommendations of where to go for dinner. We had a bathroom to ourselves on the floor below.

Kay went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and was extremely helpful and kind. I was staying for a wedding at the Castle, and she kindly arranged pick up and drop off - this was so helpful. The house is super clean, calm and comfortable. My bathroom was seperate to the room but this wasn’t a problem at all as I had it myself. It was also stocked with all necessary toiletries. The breakfast was great - the homemade sour dough was a lovely touch!

Kay was a really friendly kind and helpful host. She was very welcoming and her home is beautifully decorated, light and airy. The bed was sumptuous with lovely fresh white linen. I had my own bathroom and Kay provided a good selection of toiletries. The house is in a quiet cul de sac and I had far reaching views of the hills and also the sunrise from my window. Kay supplies a fantastic breakfast- continental style with a range of fruits from the garden and home made sour dough bread amongst a variety of other food. Kay is also a good conversationalist,is well travelled and has a good sense of humour and is knowledgeable of the area. She is also very family orientated so we had plenty to talk about. If I visit the area again I would have no hesitation in booking with Kay again.

This was a great location for a memorable visit to Winchcombe and the surrounding countryside. The accommodations were very comfortable, and Kay went well above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience. She was truly kind and engaging, which helped make my visit to this beautiful location one I won't soon forget.

Kay's hospitality was over and above B&B norms. Initially thought, oh, no TV in room, no rules etc as majority of B&B's these days but you soon realize that staying at Zen offers much much more, it is like staying with friends or family, a really really wonderful relaxing stay. lovely breakfast too. Thank you Kay, nothing, not a thing, was too much trouble, would definitely stay again.
