Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCould really use some art work where the Breakfast room is. Obviously there are no windows which is a given looking at the price and how central this is. The rooms are quite small but for my mum and me it was fine.
The hotel was VERY central. Perfect for the Theatre District and so much to do in London. We got cheese and wine in the evening free as well which was great to set us off for out west end show. The room consisted of two double beds as a bunkbed which for us was nice and meant you did have a little bit of privacy. Even had two TVs! Not sure how people who are a bit wobbly on there feet would be able to cope And be aware you must be very close to the person you are sharing a room with! The bathroom is just frosted glass between you and the shower/bathroom user

United KingdomA little storage space - there is a good arrangement for hanging shirts etc, but there is no where to hang a towel
Decent size room - for such a central location it was fantastically quiet

United KingdomThe bed was a little hard and the TV was a bit temperamental.
The room was small (i knew that when i booked) but well equipped with hot drinks, water and body wash. The view over the back of St Paul's Church was a very welcome surprise. The location is perfect for theatres and seeing the sights of London. Although very central, it felt like a little oasis of calm. There is a small bar and they do breakfast however we didn't eat there.

United KingdomThe rooms at Z hotels are very compact but always have a feeling of luxury, they have nice products in the bathroom, very comfortable beds, tea, hot chocolate and coffee bags (even oat milk as well as normal!). I don't think there is anything we didn't have that a larger, more expensive hotel would have, apart from a bit more space- but that is why they are so reasonably priced for the centre of London.

United KingdomThe double bed was against a window so one of us had to clamber over the other for the bathroom. I'd have liked somewhere off the floor to put the suitcase but space was short. Not big issues though.
Fantastic location and surprisingly quiet for central.London. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was surprisingly varied for an economy hotel. We were able to leave our luggage before and after check in and checkout.

United KingdomThe bathroom smelt like stale urine / drains when we arrived. The pillows on the bed although being comfortable were cushion size so not comfy to sleep on.
Perfect location. Great view for a special occasion. Very welcoming when we arrived. Special touch with balloons and a birthday sign in the room was lovely. Quiet. Balcony was fabulous.
