Perfect tranquil location but needs a refresh in places

Needs an refresh in places especially the games barn and the assault course is potentially dangerous as lots of rotton wood, saw the zip line fence split and fall 6 feet when a child bumped it and also saw a lady put her foot through rotton wood on one of the bridges in the woods, luckily no one was injured but feels like it's all the original features from when the site opened Disappointed there's no designated yurt car park so when the cafe is busy it's often impossible to park anywhere Also charging £3 for extra wood given the price of the property isn't a good policy

Tranquil location with plenty of woods to explore Fire pits and BBQ grills add a lovely dimension Easily reached from main roads Excellent on site cafe Dave the host is ever present and friendly

the gate padlock was very tricky to open (it wasn’t unlocked until 9am so you are given a key if you needed to leave early)

    quiet, clean, pretty

Blunt saw in the woodshed. Dishes and some utensils not properly cleaned.

Great for kids as have freedom to roam around the camp. Restaurant basic but good for an on-site place.

When staying in a yurt expect spiders. We do a lot of camping and don’t mind the beautiful insects and creatures however in a tent you can zip them out.

Fantastic yurt village with excellent cafe offering great food and evening entertainment. beautiful setting with well thought through facilities.

lights went off for block toilets at night, so not well lit making your way to shower/toilet block, if you need to go in the night. Your dependant on your own torch fully.

excellent for a family break, children could be independent and safe. Relaxing and fun.

Everything that we needed was supplied in the Yurt, David the owner was very welcoming and showed us the facilities and Yurt. The shower/toilet block where only a short walk away and deep cleaned daily, the showers are lovely and hot too! On our second night it never stopped raining but with the log burner in the yurt we stayed lovely and warm and went to sleep listening to the rain on the roof. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you Yurtcamp Devon.
