Lighting in room erratic and not good for working - light near desk/bedhead not effective. Unless turned off at main switch lighting has habit of coming on everytime you turn over during night. Bed movement was very creaky.

Great location for visiting city centre or catching train to SECC or further afield. Comfortable bed, good shower.

Hardly any faults though some spots need just a touch up as showing signs of some wear other then that no issues.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, place was clean and tidy, loved our room was lucky to get a corner room so can see the street. Beds were comfy.

Rooms are tight, we also got given a room as far away from the elevator as possible. Bathroom facilities are very poor in my opinion.

Location location location!! Bed and bedding were great.

Not recommended for family, a lot of noise in the hotel in the weekend because of the club in the hotel

No kettle in the room!!! Understand the logic that it might encourage guests to out to buy a drink and add to the local economy - but this definitely does not apply during the night or first thing in the morning. Unable to reach reception via house phone. Unable to get a reply when phoning using landline because of this. No information in the room about emergency procedures. Sink in bathroom far too small - more suitable for a caravan. No shelves to put even minimal toilet requirements beside sink. No lid on toilet. No bathroom light switch - had to go over to the door to switch on the light when using toilet during the night Not convenient at all.

The breakfast and other meals we had in the hotel were all very good. There was a wide selection and the staff were very happy to provide something which wasn't on the normal menu (poached eggs instead of scrambled). Staff made tea on request up at the bar in the evening and carried it up to the room for us(bonus point!!) Every single member of staff was helpful, courteous and smiled!!

The bed takes up the ENTIRE space. Felt cramped. The mini fridge didn’t keep items very cold.

Loved the location. It’s adjacent to the Central train station and a short walk to most everything else.

The room did not have tea or coffee making facilities or kettle which I thought was very poor for any hotel. In addition, we could not have our bags stored upon check out, they said the storage room was out of order and wet ? I wish I had known this in advance of my stay so I could have organised something. Staff were very blunt and did not apologise. They did offer an alternative ‘if you really need’ as the bag storage facility in central station which is extortionately priced - we paid £20 per bag for the day. So I would say YOTEL has very cool modern facilities, but they’re forgetting the basic hotel facilities that you actually need.

Having vega in the hotel is great, we went to the bowling! On arrival the self- check out did not work and required help from staff at reception, which was no problem and staff member was lovely and had upgraded our room. Bed in room that changes into a couch to be able to watch the smart tv with chrome cast is very cool. Room is well equipped with hair dryer and ironing facilities.

As being with a female friend the shower part even though a great shower and clean, trying to get in the shower etc can be a pest but apart from that very good

Good location, very clean, comfortable bed and good size room. Love that it has hairdryer, iron board, shampoo etc! Both check and check out girls were lovely on this occasion! And hugely appreciated the room upgrade for my birthday.

My partner and i were travelling with another couple, after the bar had closed we had went to my room for a few drink’s keeping the noise level as minimal as possible, my partner opened the door to go to the other room and one of the staff was standing right outside the door, which made us feel a bit intimidated. Apart from that great hotel

Beds are comfortable room is fine, shower is really good, most staff are friendly and it is in a very central location to mostly everything you need
