Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe duvet was a little small for the bed. I prefer to have a phone charging outlet close to my bed.
Breakfast was delicious, a little slow on Saturday morning but it was towards the end of the service so the dining area was full. Location was a little out of town, but nice and quiet being out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was lovely to come in from a cold, wet day and find the heating on.

Beautiful classic designs of the rooms. They were bigger too then first thought. The gardens were lovely even in the autumn . Staff were amazing when we were told the weather damaged the window and had to move rooms!

United KingdomWe liked the bedroom - spacious with a big comfy bed. Excellent breakfast with both continental and English cooked breakfast options. I thought the staff were super helpful and courteous, even under pressure of calling an ambulance for a guest who had collapsed. Really good stay, again, thank you.

South AfricaBeing an storical building it is not easy to be behind all the maintenance. Mine was a little room, many, many stairs to go up( will be good to ask about this in advance), part of wall paper broken, or moquette stained. Really "chambre de bonne" .Then looking other places i can suppose it is anyway the best. Careful if allergic to dust, moquette and fabric everywhere. I had very little reaction, means was clean. Missed a little lamp near the bed and heating system working.
The aesthetics and beautiful corners. Staff was kind,some of them really kind. Also the localisation, wonderful for go walking to the university or the city center ( i love to walk)
