adequate comfiness of bed, value for money.

Drying our laundry was a bit difficult.

The staff were very helpful from laundry to bus services to breakfast. Though it was far from attractions, the countryside all around was beautiful with quaint walking trails and local life. Our kids were able to explore and we were able to relax!

We couldn’t close the windows or it would be too hot, so we had to open them up during the night. WiFi did not work upstairs, so we had to use it downstairs. It was still a weak signal though downstairs.

We liked the pretty wooded area surrounding the hostel. It allowed us time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. Our room was comfortable and we had a quiet night’s sleep.

The one meal I had was bland

I enjoyed the YHA because they had a lovely lounge and sitting room and beautiful surrounds and a bus that stopped regularly right outside the hostel

The room was sooo hot - the window was set to only be open a little and it was absolutely boiling so with no air it was a very uncomfortable night. We still loved the place though

It was a particularly warm day so we had to have the windows open. There was a church clock tower that donged every hour that kept the lighter sleeper in the group up. However most of us didn’t feel this was a problem.

It had everything we needed and an en-suite which was incredible for the price. The amenities were great and there was options of food around or onsite. Staff and residents were all very friendly.

Need a bigger car park or proper bays to park in as some people take so much space to park their car where you could have parked two cars

The staff have always been very friendly, the rooms very clean and great location too..

If I had to be picky at an absolute push I’d of liked a second pillow. But that is scrapping the barrel to look for something to fill in this box

It was so clean considering it’s shared facilities. The amount of things provided for your use was astounding. A fully stocked kitchen for shared use. Fridges, freezers and even a storage room for your cooks boxes. Beautiful building and grounds. Lovely family atmosphere with plenty of safe spaces for children to play. Even on a rainy day there were indoor spaces galore filled with games and books. This was our first stay ever in a YHA, I will admit I had lots of preconceived ideas and every one was quashed. I don’t know why I found the idea of sharing shower rooms and loos so daunting but yet go camping and to leisure centres without a second glance. I’m converted and will definitely seek to become a regular guest

Someone that was in the shared dormitory stumbled in drunk at 4am. It would be good if there were alternative changing rooms to the toilet or shower for those in shared rooms.

The YH is in a good location for a visit to Stratford upon Avon. The self catering kitchen was really useful

Reception was a little hard to find but I'm sure it was more me being over tired after a long drive aha

Honestly, staff and communication was amazing - can't fault it. I only stayed for one night and was out early in the morning, so I can't say much on the hostel as a whole. But my room was clean, a very good price, and the home itself is stunning, a very very nice hostel if you're backpacking or just need a cheap room to stay in. Id love to come back and stay longer in the future.

There was nothing we did not like

The room was spacious and my friend and myself did not have to share although there were 4 beds available, this was appreciated The facilities were clean and close by to the room. English breakfast was good although we were not aware of toast making facility until we spotted someone using the toaster.
