Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainGreat location, good price and comfortable beds. They also have a bar and have some (simple) food options, which is convenient if you get there late.

United KingdomAt £50+ per person per night, Kabannas received £300 plus for a standard sized double room with small shower, loo and basin. I'm sure its overheads in Euston Road are high, but it could provide shelving in the ensuite to avoid soap bags having to go on the floor, and shelving cupboards at a comfy height enough for 6. Two of the bunks had little access to shelving. When I read similar comments in a review, I thought that was expecting a lot for £50 ish but in fact at £300 plus for a hotel room in London, these are reasonable expectations.
Lots to like. Staff, cafe and cafe prices, prices to hire towel, buy chargers etc all good, staff friendly and professional, price attractive as London hotels so expensive for singles, room sharers thoughtful, en suite shower and loo better than having to leave the room, bunk bed comfy (I was on lower bunk). So close to St Pancras for Eurostar and central for London.

IndonesiaI hope it has more cupboard. It's just 4 cupboards in a room for 6. The 2 additional drawer under the bed were not helpful, it's not equal.
Strategic location, just a few steps from King's Cross and Euston station. Fit for early morning train.

TurkeyThe things I didn't like were about visitors, actually. Firstly, the toilets in the corridor are not cleaned every day. This was very important because many idiots didn't know how to use the toilet. Secondly, there wasn't any wardrobe so luggage always stood in the middle of the room. Also, taking and putting our stuff was difficult because of this. Since the rooms have no lockers, I would have expected them to at least not charge for storing our luggage. Thirdly, the bunk beds were shaken incredibly. My bed was constantly shaking because the idiot above the bunk was masturbating and I couldn't sleep for two days.
The location was perfect. You can watch the symbolic building's view. The hostel's heat was always perfect, I was never cold. The cafe section was very available to study and work. Rooms are cleaned every day. I could stay again if I could find a room for just women.

SpainThe bathrooms are nice and clean but they could use some shelves or storage places to put your stuff while you shower. Also you need to pay for towels.
Very nice staff, reception and bar, the location is amazing and convenient to move around the city. They have a common zone with kitchen on the top of the building that is fantastic.

United KingdomI didn't boom breakfast with original booking and couldn't add it once at the hotel. Being flexible is important on holiday. The hotel location in city is great but the entrance is unwelcoming in the shopping centre that is run down and uninviting. If hotel wasn't there I'd never step foot in it as felt uncomfortable and not safest. Room could be nicer with a kettle and a little maintenance in tje wall the window was on as window didn't shut completely and lots of cracks in wall. Not enough to deter me though it was a lovely room for the price.
Location couldn't be better in relation to the city sights. Bed was the comfiest I've slept in in a while especially considering the price. Lovely big windows and thermostat to help with fluctuating temps. The curtains are great at blocking light to sleep too. I will absolutely book here again and already recommended to friends.

PhilippinesAt some point we couldn't pull the tissue properly but the holder was locked so no way to fix it. No area to hang coats or dry towels. My large luggage didn't fit the locker allotted (not really an issue for me since my roommates were ok with it staying outside just noting for others). As some people noted, there was payment for leaving luggage, I knew it but still doesn't make me like it. It would still be a plus for me if a washroom is available outside the room since I hated having to make noises late at night.
I liked that there was a common area for eating or hanging out far from the sleeping rooms. The free use of the laundry room was also very much a plus. The staff were also very helpful and nice. The location definitely was the best reason for booking this. Thankful for the lift as well which most of the accommodations in the area don't have.

FranceAmazing, amazing location, right next to St Pancras / Kings Cross - the cost was 1000% worth it! Will come back in a heartbeat if I ever need 1-2 nights in London. Obviously, it's a hostel, so dorms will always be dorms, but my room was quiet and the shared bathroom was clean. You have to pay extra for a towel / luggage storage, but honestly it's worth it. Café area downstairs has a chill vibe.
