I totally understand that out of season there are no catered facilities but the chance to buy simple bar meals and get a drink would have been good especially after a long drive (and the prospect of a mile-long single track lane to get back to the main road to find somewhere). Some information in the apartment suggesting places to eat and convenience stores close by would also have been useful (always like stuff to read) .. but, to be fair, we managed to Google some places ourselves and stumbled on a local shop one day. But that issue was only a problem until we'd found our bearings ... second visit we'll know where to go. Also, I'm sure it's work in hand, but to cut some pathways round the grounds (with some signage so visitors know where they can go) will be an additional interest along with maps for some local walks. Otherwise ... perfect holiday stay, thank you.

What a fantastic place to run a business like this ... impressive reception and self catering in very well appointed apartments in a tranquil, beautiful setting. I know we went 'out of season' but it was quiet and so relaxing ... and the upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment (which was much appreciated) gave us so much comfortable space. Reception staff were extremely helpful keeping in personal text contact for any issues we had. We were sight-seeing so went out most of the time but took advantage of the swimming pool on our last day (wish we'd tried it earlier, it was brilliant). We are not golfers but the small golf course was a lovely asset to the business. We will keep the details and look forward to a return trip with more of our family ... perfect place for a family gathering.

Very uncomfortable seating (sofas and dining chairs) Didn't like the fact that my friend got fined for keeping ev charging key when the terms weren't pointed out to her. Apparently she needed to say up front that she had an app to show how much electricity she'd taken but you didn't have to point out the terms up front. She thought she was just signing out the key. Outrageous. Left a bad taste. Wouldn't return because of that and also a restaurant, bar, takeaway would be nice

Yes, we realise that our log cabin was self catering but a cafe or restaurant on site would have been handy.

We loved the log cabin we stayed in. Spotlessly clean throughout and comfortable. It contained everything we needed. The staff were lovely and the facilities were excellent, the pool and mini golf were a huge hit with the grand kids 😀 We will definitely stay again.

The apartment was excellent. Really spacious. Facilities also brilliant - loved the pool, mini shop in reception , crazy golf and play area.

We hope the bar and restaurant will be open by the time we go back! It would be nice to have a large broom and mop in the apartment as there was only a dustpan and brush in ours.

This aparthotel is absolutely amazing! We went as 3 adults and 6 children. We had the 3 bed apartment and the 1 bed lodge. Both were clean and well equipped with everything you would need. There was kitchen roll and toilet roll supplied, including washing liquid, sponge and dishwasher tabs and sachets of salt pepper and tea and coffee. There were sachets of milk in the fridge also. Enough to get you through a day or two until you could go and do your shop. We had our supermarket shop delivered to our apartment, which was nice and easy. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and helpful. Lorraine at the leisure center is an absolute asset to Wychnor! So bubbly and kind and caring to all the kids and adults! The facilities were clean. The kids were lucky to spend around 2 hours a day in the pool everyday as it wasn't so busy. They played for hours in the playground and on the crazy golf and table tennis. All bats and balls are supplied by Wychnor and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The area was safe, and we could rest indoors knowing the kids could be out all day on their own (ours were aged 10 & 12). We also had a 17 year old with us who enjoyed the outdoor sports area, tennis courts, the pool, and the gym. The area is stunning and so scenic and there are so many places on site to sit and have a picnic or just read a book. We would definitely come back and understand why Wychnor has the great rating they truly deserve!

Lovely clean apartment with comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need. Thought free use of tennis rackets and the outdoor games was a lovely touch.

That we had to make up the sofa bed. We arrived fairly late and had to make the bed up for the two smalls to sleep on.

The building was gorgeous, big old country house with lots of amenities to keep a family of four entertained for two days. Pool was quiet both days we used it, I was the only one in the sauna and stema room! Bliss! The bedroom was big, plenty of space and and two bathrooms was a big bonus. This was room no.1 in the main house.
