The main trouble WAS NO HOT WATER IN THE MORNING. Maybe having showers that heat the water as you need it ?

We had noisy neighbours the first night, but I cannot blame the Woolpack for that. One room we were shown smelt a bit musty but the rooms we stayed in were fine. It has been a very damp year so far, so maybe this explains things.

Although we had requested a quiet room, we were initially put in one facing the main road. However, the staff were very helpful in rearranging things so we had two nights in quiet rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay there again. I enjoyed the breakfasts.

The walls were so thin I could hear literally every word spoken by the occupants of the next door plus room overlooked the children's garden play area. Not ideal.

The mattress wasn’t the best, it was spring which isn’t the most comfortable and whenever one of us turned over, the other one ended up being bouncing which woke us up.

The room was basic but very clean. Liked that the rooms are in a separate building to the actual pub, the free parking was great.

The only if I had to say one thing would be to please just change the mattresses and get new mattresses. We stayed in room nine had an absolutely amazing stay breakfast in the morning was fresh and awaiting our arrival couldn’t thought the place apart from the mattress.

Everybody was great from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing so fresh and so tasty would definitely stay there again.

The main reason for this booking was the 6 car charging points none of which were working we had to go to another charging point and we had our evening meal there. We accepted that if we had charged our car there we accepted that the cost was £1.40 per kW as the room was a good price.

Ordered 2 poached eggs on toast for both of us, followed by toast & marmalade. eggs were over poached, hard not runny and the bread was soggy and tasteless, as was toasted bread and what was an excuse for marmalade, I don't think it had ever been near an orange

Unfortunately, the mattress in my room was very lumpy in the middle and the springs seem to be past their use-by date! It would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the room, rather than having to fetch from a shared space.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was very clean and easily accessible. I enjoyed my breakfasts and had a really tasty evening meal on arrival.

Our room had a very strong smell of damp, but we were only there for the night so it was tolerable. Coffee and tea facilities were in the room but no milk. Only realised when we were rushing out early in the morning.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Local and friendly environment with good food and service and ample parking. Ideally located to the Goodwood Motor Circuit and a 10 minute walk to a Tesco for last minute items.

Beds too soft for me (but that is a personal preference). Quite expensive - but we did stay on a bank holiday weekend when it was quite full. Breakfast drinks machine slow and drinks not very hot.
