Bed was very uncomfortable with springs visible on mattress. Continental breakfast one morning very sparse so little choice.

So close to wells and of course wookey hole caves.

Fabulous hotel, lovely staff and plenty to do.

I found the menu a little restrictive. The breakfasts are excellent and we ate in the restaurant for 2 evenings for ease. The food portions are very generous and good value for money and the food itself is lovely. However, there are few healthy options, I would have liked to have been able to have a jacket potato instead of chips or skinny chips or a chicken salad. That said, when I asked if it was possible to just have a salad the kitchen did make me one - they were very, very accommodating. Not a complaint at all - my children loved the food.

I'm a single parent so it's important to me that the hotel and room feel safe and are easy to access as I'm often juggling children and luggage. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and welcoming, the room was lovely and spacious even though there was 3 of us sharing. The hotel itself has a games room to occupy the children, everything was clean and easily accessible and I was able to park right outside.

Having to wait for a table at breakfast time. Would have been nice to have the table according to your room number.

The room was nice and spacious and breakfast very good, the one evening meal was very nice but expensive and not much choice.

Quite expensive prices for breakfast. Could have offered a discount for the Wookey Hole caves for staying at the hotel. The room would have been better if it contained a small fridge that contained a bottle of water and air conditioning on hot days. It also would also be good if a generic message would be left at all rooms from the Witch to give the hotel more quirks and personality.

Good location. Clean room with a comfortable bed and warm shower. Plenty of car park spaces.

The evening meal was more like school dinners tbh, decent grub, well cooked but ...basic

Staff were attentive and engaging, all clean and tidy but fairly simple/basic - which is fine.

Would have liked some electric car chargers and a play area for children for the evenings. Would be good if the rooms could have a mini fridge too.

Nice hotel, right in Wookey hole. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Room was as expected for a three star, basic but comfortable. Not noisy, so had a good sleep.

It took an hour to get back onto the m5, and I felt that the admission price to the attraction was too expensive
