- The host are very accommodating and engaged. Breakfast was very appetizing, made sure my partner who is vegetarian had options. Also knowledgeable about surrounding areas - the bedroom and en-suite are modern, very clean and well maintained - plenty of parking space

Everything was perfect

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Woodlands B&B! Isabel and Robert are fantastic hosts. The rooms and property are beautiful. Cosy bed everything is super clean and you even get treats in the room every day. Isabel was super helpful with tipps on what to do nearby. The breakfast was delicious and there is something for every taste 😉😄 We also enjoyed the nice conversations with the hosts. It's been a fantastic stay and I will definitely come back! Thank you 😄

Robert and Isabelle were wonderful hosts, and made us feel very welcome. They are very knowledgeable on the area, and provided us with excellent suggestions for locations to visit during our stay. The property is spotless and had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and had really nice natural lighting. The breakfast is exceptional and for dinner there are some locations within walking distance, so the location is quite convenient (and within walking distance to Urquhart Castle). There's also a gas station, grocery store, and a coffee shop nearby. Everything was perfect. 10/10. Would definitely stay again (and hope to do so one day!).

I have nothing negative to say. Everything exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived our experience was wonderful. We were met with the most friendly hosts and it was made clear that nothing would be too much effort in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The room, and the entire property, was spotless and you could tell that so much care and consideration had gone into every item purchased. The bed was enormous and one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. However, it was the breakfast that blew us away. The cooked breakfast for me and the consideration in providing lactose/gluten-free options for my partner was incredible. With generous fruitbowls and the most perfectly cooked poached eggs on toast, we started our day the right way. I honestly cannot say enough about how perfect our stay was and a big thanks to our hosts who made us feel welcome and clearly care very much about the service they provide. I'm always slightly dubious of reviews that use too many superlatives. However, in this case the review wouldn't be accurate without them!

Beautiful property, very comfortable, but what made this so special were the hosts Robert and Isabelle. They were so friendly and knowledgeable of the area, history, and had great recommendations. The breakfast food was delicious and they left freshly baked goods in our room each morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this stay again! I would say the photos don’t do the property justice :)

Wonderful home away from home B&B. The hosts Isabel and Robert made our stay magical. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great home cooked to order breakfasts. Spacious modern room with living room. Great heating. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Good location to explore areas around Loch Ness. Free parking.

Entirely a matter of personal preference but we found the mattress and the pillows a little too firm for our comfort but it didn’t spoil our overall stay at Woodlands which was first class.

Robert and Isabelle were the perfect hosts - charming and extremely helpful and friendly - we loved staying at Woodlands which is a lovely property with lovely owners!

Robert & Isabelle were excellent attentive hosts and full of knowledge about the local area and attractions, nothing was any trouble and they made us feel very welcome. Exceptional breakfast freshly cooked to order and a choice to cater for all tastes. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. The daily treats were a nice addition to the tea tray. Will definitely return if we are this far north again.

Fantastic B&B, and Isabelle and Rob were amazing hosts. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and the Breakfast was superb. The location was perfect with two really good pubs both within walking distance and both served really good food, also within walking distance to Lochness. Would definately recommend

Everything. The couple couldn't do enough for us. The cakes in the rooms were added bonus. Excellent breakfast. We arrived early for check in but this wasn't a problem. We had booked all rooms and the self catering apartment for family. they even let us have access to an added chalet to socialise together. The garden is amazing

We had an amazing stay. The rooms were clean and compfy. For the surrounding area I would definitely recommend having a car. The hosts were lovely and welcoming giving lots of tipps and ideas allowing us to make the most of our stay! Breakfast was exceptional with lots of vegetarian and vegan options and a microwave made some dinners very easy!

We loved it all. From the house, surroundings and comfort of the room. The hosts were spectacular, made us feel at home and gave us great tour tips. Upon our arrival they upgraded the room, booked a table at a nearby restaurant (with attention to the unexpected delay of our arrival) and every day we had 2 slices of homemade cake. Also the breakfast was exceptional. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back

This is the most satisfying hotel I have lived in.The breakfast is very rich. There are many food or drink choices. The room is so pleasant and sweet. And the house is so beautiful with a big garden where there’s well-trimmed plants.Elizabeth and Robert provide different dessert every day for us.And they provide lots of advices for our trip. A wonderful stay !

Isabelle and Robert, our hosts at the B&B, were wonderful. They helped us on a couple of things during our stay including accommodating us for an additional night. The property was excellent and the breakfasts that were cooked to order were delicious. The B&B is well positioned in the center of Scotland near Loch Ness making for easy access to the countryside in all directions. My wife and I would highly recommend Woodlands B&B to anyone traveling to Scotland.

Absolutely nothing!

Had an amazing stay here. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and had untold local knowledge. Robs breakfast is the best we’ve ever had. All cooked to order. Cakes in the room every day were an added bonus and tasted fantastic. The Loch Ness Inn is a 5 minute walk away for eating in the evening. Can’t speak highly enough of how good Woodlands is. Just book it and see for yourself. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Drumnadrochit.

Beautiful house in a beautiful garden. Our room was incredible, immaculate and comfortable. Loved the slice of cake on our tea tray. A very warm welcome from Isabelle and Robert. Breakfast was excellent, best scrambled eggs I’ve had, food cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though it was a short stay, felt very at home and the hosts waved goodbye as though we were leaving friends. We will go back again!

We could not fault any part of our stay at Robert and Isabelle’s Woodlands B&B in Drumnadrochit. They are the most hard working, attentive, friendly hosts and their property is first class. Our time there will always be among our happiest memories because of their efforts.

Breakfast was perfect. There was a range of choices and what we selected were excellent… best porridge I’ve ever tasted along with the freshest fruits, including raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, banana, melon and more, all cleaned and served in a glass bowl. Cooked breakfast offered a good selection and all were cooked and presented beautifully. Fresh juices and coffee/tea were all available. Whatever we wanted, and it was all table service.
