Mattresses in both bedrooms need a change-very poor condition, bed in master bedroom need to go as when moving you feel it will go. Hot tub on arrival was super cold 15° ( we were lucky that we was there for 3 nights so could enjoy it next morning but what about people who go there for 1 night ? ) Sofa in living room - worn out. I know its self catering but things like salt, paper should be in cup board for price tag ?

The whole experience was nice, relaxing, fishing was brilliant caught over 25 carp in 2 days up to 17lb on 2 pole lake, hot tub was amazing once it warmed up.

The only thing we found slightly disappointing was that the lights around the property didn't go off at any point in the evening, not allowing us to properly star gaze in the hot tub.

A lovely, cosy little hut with a hot tub. There is plenty of privacy with a fence all around the accommodation. The grounds were lovely to explore, with plenty of wildlife and gorgeous views of the lakes. An added bonus of cute animals and a querky enchanted forest made up for Halloween. The food at both Jack's restaurant and Liv's Asian restaurant were delicious; the added quirkiness of eating on a double-decker bus was an experience. Staff were friendly, a really lovely place to stay.

1/ Heating did not work in first night so we slept in sub-zero temperatures. Emergency phone number useless. However, the next day the staff did make an effort in rectifying the issue, and we slept in warmth the subsequent days. 2/ Only one set of small towels. They could have some extra towels. And nowhere to hang the towels.

The 9:30am check out is too early and even after 3 phone calls and asking at check in no one would confirm if we could have a later time or not. There should be a welcome pack with instructions for the facilities, a map of the resort, details of what you can and can't do, i.e there are little huts in the forest with fire pits but no idea if they are for general use or if they need to be booked? Some essential numbers would be good too.

We stayed in a lodge with an outside jacuzzi bath and sauna which were amazing. The lodge was very clean, obviously brand new and near to one of the lakes and the forest. The cafe and Thai restaurant are really good. We didn't leave the resort for the time we were there which was really relaxing. The staff are so friendly, not only would we go back but we would look at the other locations they have, we had a great time.

People were coming back from a concert about 1 - 2 am and the cars driving on the gravel woke me up.

I liked the spacious ness of the lodge. Good eating facilities on site, and very quiet.

Could do with more clothing storage when staying for a week In addition, had to wash all plates and cutlery etc. as they were all dirty on arrival

It was all good.

The breakfast at fusion was excellent. The Thai restaurant was superb in the evening. Shame fusion wasn't open on the day we departed until 11.00 , That was the 1st negative of the weekend. To add to that Jacks wasn't open either although the signage outside said otherwise.

No customer service or management present, paid for a lodge yet we didn’t get a key for the balcony so couldn’t sit out… the lodge was super hot and no fan provided , outside of cabin needed a good wash/ getting rid of cob webs.

Great location, great restaurants on site , peaceful , lovely grounds, super dog friendly , great cleaning lady that couldn’t do enough for us.
