We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe parking arrangements are not well advertised on their website. Price is just over £7 per day which matches the public car park in front of the hotel.
We only had breakfast once otherwise we tend to put on a lot of weight. Quality and choice was very good.

United KingdomSmall maintenance issues not attend to in my room. Safe not working and bulb out above the mirror in bathroom. Reported on arrival of a 3 night stay but still not done when we left. Also noticed, but not reported broken bottom hinge on wardrobe and waste trap of sink leaking water on to floor. The later looks like had been doing so for some time as tiles stained.

United KingdomOn our last stay we had lovely robes with the hotel logo to walk to and from the spa, this time you had to pay for a robe without logo and very basic, and non returnable fee. I think the robes with logo were a very nice touch and stops seeing guests walking around the hotel wrapped in towels visiting the spa.

United KingdomThe hotel advertises as pet friendly so I tried to book but it was originally cancelled, as apparently 'pets' means dogs only. I spent quite some time selecting the hotel, thinking our little cat could be accommodated, only to be cancelled. The fact that it is dog only, needs to be made clear on all platforms. The tap in the bathroom was hanging off, very awkward to use and not what I would expect from a hotel of that standard.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The bar staff were very accommodating.

United KingdomThe bedding was the only thing I would comment on. The mattress cover didn't cover the bed and nor did the bottom sheet which meant the mattress was exposed.
The room was spacious and comfortable. We didn't use the spa or restaurant, but the bar area was lovely and a pleasant place to have a drink before going out.
