Very small gripes and definitely wouldn´t put us off returning so more for feedback for the hotel than anything else. Weirdly the heating in the room was a tough one to navigate and it was cold on arrival - we found the controls for the underfloor heating in the bathroom but couldn´t seem to warm the room up. Probably us being silly and not finding the right thing. The breakfast servers were not the most friendly and didn´t explain how the buffet etc worked so we were a little lost at first.

Lovely cozy hotel with details like wellington boots to borrow, fresh milk to your room in the morning and the radio on when you arrive with some great jazz music. The restaurant in the pub was absolutely delicious for dinner and really high quality food. Comfortable bed and great location to explore a small village and beautiful countryside. Loved that it wasn´t in a touristy town but was close to Cirencester.

The dinner was disappointing. Suggest they cut the menu in half - keep it simple. The kitchen was clearly struggling. The output wasn’t great. But the breakfast was excellent.

Staff were super helpful. Beautiful hotel. Lots of lovely touches from the sloe gin to the boot scrappers outside the room

It is really quite pricey, however, this is mostly justified by the quality provided.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location next to stream and a field for taking the dog out. Included breakfast menu was very good and the accompanying breakfast buffet was fantastic. We received a free room upgrade as it was my fiancee's 30th birthday which was hugely appreciated.

The property has a great location in the middle of the Cotswolds so easy access to the towns around. It’s very modern and cozy, and it has everything you need. The room has beautiful toiletries with great smell. The staff is very friendly, professional and very attentive. I mentioned that staying at the hotel was a birthday treat for my boyfriend, and the staff left a birthday card and a box of chocolates for him at our arrival. Very thoughtful!! :)

    See above

What we ate for breakfast was inventive, very tasty and freshly cooked. However, it was disappointing that, coming down at 9 a m, no fruit cocktail of berries (which I would have expected for an establishment of your status) nor honey was available. The service was slow but that in no way reflects on the lady who served us, as she was “waiting” alone and was clearly rushed off her feet. However, she remained composed and loyal to the hotel. There was no complaining about her plight. Fortunately, we weren’t in a hurry but, if we had been, our “disappointment” would have been more pronounced.

Noise from other rooms/guests. Lots of noise carried through from the people above me as well as a group of guests who were enjoying drinks in the courtyard. It wasn't that they were being particularly noisy, just there is very little sound insulation.

Room very well appointed. Good location with no road noise despite being next to the road. Nice quality, complimentary shampoo, conditioner etc. Staff all pleasant and welcoming.

Lovely little fire lit outside where you can sit and chill in the evening, we loved everything!

Nothing really only thing to note that is quite daunting being a solo traveller and I was seated in the middle of two couples for dinner. Would have preferred to be on the end. But did not ruin my stay and like I mentioned staff were amazing

Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing. This was my first solo trip and me and my dog had a wonderful time. We were shown a walk that we could do which was lovely. Then the lounge area we could relax for a drink. The staff for dinner were amazing and really enjoyed my meal. They even watched the dog when I had to pop off to the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely again. Staff were so friendly and really accommodating. Perfect stay especially if you have a pooch

Bike was difficult to handle, when replacing opt for a non gear easy bikes like those offered in public places. Maybe more ammenities, or add a telescope for star gazing?

The decor was fabulous of the rooms, the food and breakfast was scrumptious. The intricate details to attention with all the bathroom floor heating and fireplaces outdoors.
