The entrance to the lodging needed cleaning. And we kept all curtains closed except the lounge, because we didn't want to see the bird droppings.

These are very minor quibbles indeed, but two of the beds seem to be sofa beds and while they were perfectly comfortable they are not quite as luxurious as a proper bed! While we loved it, this is definitely not a place for anyone with mobility issues as you need to negotiate both outside and insight flights of steps.

It's a lovely and well equipped apartment; it is really central and only a 5-minute walk from good value parking, which is something of a miracle in a city centre! We really liked being in the middle of things; it was fun to see what was going on below, and great to be able to step out of the property and immediately have lots of options to eat and shop around us. We could walk to everything we wanted to see, from the museum to the cathedral and all around the city. The living room which faced the street did get street noise, but the bedrooms further back were very quiet and we were able to sleep well. Warm and cosy on a couple of very rainy nights too.

Location was great. Maybe use app like What 3Words to accurately locate the entrance gate and drop off point. We tried post code and written instructions but ended up parking in residential street a few minutes away.

Having stayed here 3 years ago we knew what to expect with all the stairs, but the decor and furnishings have not been updated in that time. Its in desperate need of some TLC in some areas (recarpetting, bathroom door handle has no screws, hand rail on the staircase) Also needs a good dust in higher parts like light shades

The second toilet was pretty unusable as it overflowed anytime it was flushed, so with 7 guests it was a little annoying. But main bathroom was perfect

There was no parking facilities, paid carpark fees of £10 a day at nearby carpark. Stairs were a bit slippy in the wet.

Unfortunately the access to the apartment is via a filthy cobbled street, lined with local restaurant bins, slippery cardboard and broken glass. Also very smelly in the summer! To get to the door of the apartment you have to tackle some very steep steps which was frightening to negotiate with my mother, who is in her eighties and a bit wobbly. My other comment would be that the stairs inside the properly need a rail to make them safe.

The apartment is very conveniently located in the middle of Town if you don't mind the noise that this inevitably brings with it. Right opposite the Slug and Lettuce and above a taxi rank, so noise continues until the early hours of the morning. The apartment inside is comfortable and well-equipped, though a bit run-down generally.

The entrance is down a filthy alley full of overflowing bins, urine and vomit puddles. The only access is up a treacherous flight of stairs which is totally unsuitable for anyone with small children or people with disabilities and it's directly above a busy taxi rank meaning drunk idiots till 5am screaming. Don't expect any sleep!
