Lovely staff, super location and a really nice room. Beautifully and imaginatively decorated building. All in all highly recommended.

We stayed in a room at the top of the property and while it feels secluded, with it being at the roof pigeons rest on the window ledges and are very loud in the morning. I was woken up at 5am because of this. Nothing to do with the property itself but an annoyance nonetheless.

Great property in a fantastic location. The staff were brilliant and the included breakfast was lovely.

My jacket was mistakenly taken by another guest when left in storage. The hotel rectified the issue but I suggest a formal ticketing process be introduced to avoid any future confusion.

The Whitehouse Rye is conveniently located in town. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower! Breakfast was unexpectedly included for us and was delicious.

A few areas needed a bit of TLC. Water pressure low in top room which meant poor flush on toilet.

access to whoopi suite was up three flights of stairs and a very narrow hallway, not great with cases. low ceilings, very low and creaky metal bed frame. creaky floorboards, shower only in bath. not a lot of headroom in toilet, nowhere to hang hand towel or toiletries near sink. pigeons quite noisy from 5:30am you can also hear cold water storage tank refilling next to room.

excellent location and fabulous breakfasts available until 3pm which was brilliant. staff friendly and attentive. quirky and plenty of space. in room water and coffee station but nespresso machine didn’t work

Excellent location. Clean room. Comfy bed. Big bath (no shower but we were warned when we booked) Warm welcome, Great choice of food for breakfast. (Waking up to the aroma of fresh bread was lovely)

The price of the room + breakfast was not cheap. Breakfast could have been more generous.

The staff were kind. The room was nice and quiet at night. The bathroom had shower only, not bathtub. The shower gel was was the best. Breakfast was nice but not generous portions, just fine. The location is excellent.

We went as a group so some of the room configurations were not practical. Perfect for couples though. Would also have been nice if the breakfast table was reserved at time specified as we went down at the time requested and the cafe is very busy with non guests. We didn't wait long though. Breakfast worth the wait.

Lovely breakfast, nice comfy rooms, great location. Some rooms are in the roof so stairs are a bit steep and roof is low.

Television behind sofa not very useful! Difficult to get temperature right in shower. No outside space. No food or drink service after 4.00pm but excellent options nearby.

Quirky property in great location with very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. We had quiet room (Tart) at back with nice outlook. Quite large room.

Quite expensive for one night- in my opinion. No parking- we parked at the station which is about 5-10 mins walk.

Very central in Rye. Lovely old building. Breakfast was superb- choice from their cafe menu.

A great spot on the quaint high street (quiet at night), with a large room with bed and couch and a modern decorated bathroom. Perfect for a central stay in Rye and with the bonus of the cafe downstairs.
