Just like most other hotels in Llandudno, needs updating really...but I understand its probably not viable...

The hotel seemed well ran with polite staff, clean and located in a ideal position. Stayed in a very small single room...must admit it needed updating but it was adequate...clean, hot water, lots of tea and coffee, serviced daily and a reasonably comfy bed...cannot fault the breakfast, lots of choice, everything cooked well and hot..very nice..

We were in the third floor so the steps were a killer, staff did say they are extending the lift at the moment to reach the breakfast area so this will be back up and running asap. The decor is dated reminded me of a 80s hotel but to be honest this didn’t take anything away from our lovely stay just gave us a little laugh.

The hotels location couldn’t be beaten, right in the heart of town and next to the beach. Breakfast was 5 star great choice, hot and tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The white Heather exceeded our expectations with us late booking and the decent price.

The stairs were an issue, staying on 2nd floor, and the breakfast room was in the basement. In full fairness to the hotel we were informed the lift was currently being renovated to include access to the Breakfast room, which is good news for the future. We were also pre warned to contact them if we felt we needed a lower level room, which we did not do, so the hotel are working hard to inform everyone of the lift upgrade.

The decor was quite dated. Although the hotel is clearly well maintained and the furnishings and decor were of good quality. The bathrooms though were modern functional and all was immaculately.

The Location was excellent, ideal for transport and for the pier and prom.

The bathroom in our room was small and the shower was claustrophobic because it was so small

The shower was tiny, but the water was hot with good flow, so that made up for it. There is no car parking but we managed to find a space outside of the hotel 3 nights running, and when we went out there was plenty of parking along the adjacent streets. It could be an issue if you were mobility impaired and unable to walk far.

The lift was being re-furbished (we were informed, and stairs no issue for us) so no evening meals being served. Again no issue, we prefer to go out when away. The breakfast was really good, serve yourself full English which went down a treat. The receptionists were lovely, with the evening receptionist doubling up as barman in the small and cosy bar. Some of the furniture in the bar was a little tired, but didn't bother us. It was nice to have somewhere to sit, have a drink and read our books. Hot water was plentiful and the room was serviced every day, which was nice. Location is good with a plentiful supply of restaurants in close proximity.

Ther was nothing wrong with the washing facilities but it was difficult to enter and leave the bathroom

We enjoyed our breakfasts. The breakfast room met all requirements. We were impressed by the attitude of the staff on reception. Well done!!
