Beautifully appointed, well looked after and breakfast fas fab! Homemade cake in the room with wine! What more could you ask for. Peaceful nights sleep with not a sound until the dawn chorus followed by a horse walking by outside!

What a find! I booked to be near to David Austin Roses, just 15 minutes away. Jackie and Rob are great, very welcoming and engaging, a fantastic team, informative and helpful. The room was lovely overlooking a beautiful garden. The wine and cake were a welcoming touch, and appeared both days. Plenty of choice with tea and coffee. I had smoked salmon for breakfast both days, fruit salad and croissants with home made jam, all beautifully presented and plentiful. A really pretty and peaceful location. I felt completely relaxed and nourished on leaving, I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much Jackie and Rob x

It was all wonderful

Everything was wonderful- Super large comfy bed, warm and homely hospitality, fantastic facilities in the room including home made cake, biscuits and even red wine. Hosts were so kind and allowed us to arrive early in order to attend a local wedding. Breakfast was delicious and the whole stay eas wonderful- I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to return!

Greeted us with a coffee in their beautiful garden. Went above and beyond. The breakfast was exceptional (made to order). Very friendly and welcoming couple. Would definately stay here again.

Can't think of anything which could be improved.

Location is very good, quiet but with easy access to the M6. Breakfast was varied and excellent with a wide choice of local produce cooked to order. The room was very clean and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. All facilities were present to make a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, the complimentary cake and wine was especially welcome.

Can not fault our stay. Our hosts were wonderfully helpful and friendly. In addition there were great touches, such as the complimentary homemade cake and drinks. The breakfast was delicious too. All in all just what you need, and more, for a wonderful stay. Shame it was only 1 night.

The breakfast was excellent and beautifully cooked with good quality ingredients. All diets could be catered for and they were very attentive hosts. The wonderful welcome tray in the room was replenished each day.

Everything. Jackie and Robb are wonderful hosts. Friendly, easy going, helpful. (We had a little accident that messed up a tire. Robb phoned the nearby garage and they were waiting for us first thing the next morning. Fixed the tire in 20 minutes and we did not miss anything we had planned to do that day.) The breakfasts were exceptional and there was cake and shortbread waiting in the room each day. Jackie even sent us on our way with a jar of her wonderful homemade marmalade. Lovely stay.
