Bed a little low and creaky. (We're a bit old and heavy) But the mattress was comfortable. Missed turning both times needs a warning sign as it is on the bend.

Fabulous rural location ground floor. Amazing walk in shower. Hot water. Massive supply of breakfast options including fully stocked fridge, toaster& microwave. Surprise visit from wildlife, absolute chance I looked out and saw deer, hares, pheasants wow. Sofa really comfortable seating.

Nothing we didn’t like.

The owner Gill couldn’t have been nicer, everything was top notch and the location is really beautiful. Continental breakfast in our room had a large and ample selection of cereals, breads, yogurts, cheese, pate, biscuits, fresh milk, juices and more. With a fridge, microwave and toaster. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Gill was a very helpful and friendly host. Comfortable, clean and spacious room with great in-room breakfast selection. Only a few minutes drive from Priston Mill.

Nothing - everything had been thought of, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Whidlecombe Farm is an excellent little accommodation find, close to Priston Mill where my husband and I attended a wedding in early September - a 10 min drive or 30 min walk. It was easy to find, private, comfortable, well equipped and absolutely immaculate (cleaner than a lot of hotels we’ve stayed in!!!). The setting is also absolutely lovely. The breakfast options were extensive too! Special shoutout to the shower which was particularly lovely.

The drive to the property was a little bumpy for a car with little clearance but was sorted once we knew. the farm sign was not clearly visible from the direction we approached and perhaps could have been closer to the road.

Room was spacious and included settee, Table and chairs to eat on, TV (only used it for the morning radio) etc. Was clean tidy and the landlady was very friendly. Lovely country setting. Surprised to be woken by a chicken pecking the window but it was time to get up anyway. Beware its single track road all around but that was not an issue.

Lovely room, very well furnished and very clean. The fridge was useful and well stocked with milk, yogurts, butter and cheeses. There was also bread and cereals in plentiful supply as well as a variety of teas, coffers and jams. Very helpful owner.

Difficult to find both during the day and in the dark (we travelled for a wedding)… could do with ‘what3words’ to give precise location please! Yogurt in fridge was out of date (oversight I’m sure) so one of us went without which was a shame!

We were not aware that we had to prepare our continental breakfast in the room and then wash up the utensils in a bowl provided (also in the room).

Nothing it was all great We walked back to Priston Mill in the morning to collect our car it is a short 15-20min walk although there are few pavments as its all country roads.

Gill really thought of what her guests need. The continental breaakfast was great and it was a wonderful location to attend a wedding at Priston Mill. Gill was an excellent host and was great at communicating before we arrived and, giving us our privacy when we were there. The shower was great and the bed was comfy.

Great communication pre check in. Parking was easy and the room was clean. Gill kindly let us use her ironing board was we were off to an event locally. We spent the evening exploring the area and enjoyed a meal at the local pub which is an easy walk through the beautiful village. A wonderful continental style breakfast was provided before checking out.

The sign at the entrance to the farm was not visible coming down the hill due to overgrown branches. A bigger sign or one on either side of the entrance would help.

The hosts provided me with a wide variety of options for breakfast with plenty of each option plus a frdge, toaster, kettlevand microwave. They were welcoming and pleasant and handled check in quickly and efficiently. The room was spotless, comfortable and a good size and I was particularly impressed with the large walk in shower in the bathroom. Check out was equally easy and well managed.
