Poor breakfast services, waited 10 mins to be seated in breakfast room, then a further 30 mins before our order was taken. Asked if could have eggs scrambled, said no only fried. Husband asked for hash browns and was told they are only for vegetarians. Only ever saw 2 staff, seemed a little rushed off their feet during breakfast, both were in and out, if could recommend a solution to breakfast time it would be, leave a paper slip on the foyer desk, with what options are for breakfast, each visitor can pop their room number and name on the slip and tick the box and choose what it is they want, when they arrive for breakfast then that breakfast starts to be made. Rest of stay was ok, room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy. We were in room 11 on the top floor. Quite a few stairs.

In the shower the length of hose had been restricted so made showering a little awkward . That being said it didn't hamper our relaxed stay

Decor in the hallway was dated, clutter near the reception desk. Garden needed tidying up a bit better.. but it didn’t have an effect on staying..

Heavier curtains in the bedroom to block out light better.

The room was spacious, the TV was enormous, there was a car park for our motor scooter. It was in a good location, close to amenities but still in a quiet part of the town.

We had a slight issue with the shower, both the pressure & temperature but I made the owner aware on check out & I am sure it will be sorted for future guests.

Breakfast was more than adequate & quickly served despite how busy the hotel was. The twin room was ample size & cleaned to a high statndard.

The shower did not have any power and the sink has old fashion taps, with one very hot and one very cold tap. I didn't think it was good value for money as I stayed in cheaper hotels in the past with better facilities. (It was a last minute booking so unsure if the price was high because of this)

The bed is comfy , the breakfast was good (English breakfast), the staff was really nice and welcoming and the room smelled and was cleaned. The hotel was really quiet when we were staying.

Room was very comfortable, bedding was soft and smelled nice, shower was powerful, multiple mirrors for getting ready, tea and coffee making facilities, everything was clean, the breakfast was very nice - cooked fresh and made to order, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Lots of parking on the street just outside and just a short walk from the sea front.
