Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room with outside seating area, and a very good breakfast. We were there over a weekend when there were no conferences, so the place was mostly deserted. Beautiful grounds, but sadly some areas were not accessible at weekends.

A spotless, comfortable room with a king size bed and coffee and tea making facilities. The heating was on when we arrived and it was greatly appreciated throughout the weekend as the weather was unseasonably cold, The breakfast was good. We had an evening meal at the bar one night and it was reasonably priced and although a limited choice it was of a good standard. The first night we had a meal at the Red Lion pub which was 5 min away and this was very good. the grounds are beautiful and there was lots of car parking space. We will definitely return.

It is a bit isolated from Cambridge, but that is not a problem if you come by car.

Excellent, full English breakfast. Spacious, spotless restaurant, polite staff. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Large green areas. Easy check-in and check-out. Safe parking.

    See above

Property immaculate, quiet and serene. The grounds are like being on the most beautiful campus you will ever see. The wild life and the gardens stunning. It was a sheer slice of heaven. The hall is an old estate converted into a genome conference center. They have a lounge where you can get food for a small menu or a cafeteria with some really good choices only open until 3 I believe. The breakfast buffet has everything for a proper English breakfast. Since they are a conference center they are use to catering which is a plus in the food they prepare. A 6 minute walk away is a pub and down road a McDonald’s and a small m&s simple. Not much else around but only a 15 min drive from Cambridge. While it’s not a proper hotel it’s worth a try especially if your hitting an air show at Duxford (6min) I am in love with this place and look forward to taking my tea into an empty lounge in the old manor house for some quiet reflection. I really didn’t want to leave. Ps. The flowers and trees smelll HEAVENLY!!

Signage was awful, hard to find your way around in the dark. Was told on arrival there was no food on offer due to low number of bookings, not really ideal after a long drive. Surely a message could have been sent that would have allowed us to eat before arrival.

I found it a little challenging once I got past the main security barrier to successfully navigate my way around the facility and find the reception centre for Hinxton Hall. To be fair though, I arrived late at night after a long day and the area was quite dark. If it had been during the day it would have been much easier however I'm sure many others would have turned up under these conditions. Maybe a little more information on that aspect may help somewhat.

Beautifully cooked full English breakfast, just the way I like it. Room was perfect with a small but entirely adequate bathroom. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. The grounds surrounding the area are beautiful, lush and well maintained. Very peaceful and quiet, easy to get a good night's sleep.

It's a conference centre, so not a hotel. The dinning room had a refectory feel (long communal tables), the bar was small and poorly stocked. Wasn't prepared for the tap water in the room not being drinkable and whilst there were water dispensers in the communal areas, it was inconvenient. Although there are limited hotels in the area, it did feel expensive.

The room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, the air conditioning made the room wonderfully cool and the staff were very pleasant- all were smiley and happy to help. Although very limited, the food offered from the bar in the evening was very reasonably priced. We would stay again but have more realistic expectations next time.
