Strangely, the squeaky floor was irritating. The stairs leading down to the toilet could be a problem for anybody with problems with their legs. It was over 2 miles from a CoOp the only shop. Clothes hook on toilet door would be helpful.

It had everything we needed to make it a home from home

A heated towel rail would have prevented the towels from getting damp. A small bedside table on the right hand side to hold a glass of water, glasses book etc We weren’t sure what time the gates to the property were opened in the morning and locked at night

We did not realise that the barn was not in St Austell, as advertised, or that it was on a small estate under construction, or that it was in the owners back garden.

The Barn itself was lovely and cosy with everything we needed.

The host actually met us and explained details of the Barn. They also provided a bottle of milk, tea and coffee supplies in plenty and biscuits. The whole place was so clean and fresh. There are building works going on next door but did not disturb us as the Barn is well sound proofed. The location was convenient for our visits to Eden and Gardens of Heligan.

We loved everything. The only thing we'd say is maybe the living area needed a small lamp for the evening instead of a the main light, makes it a little cosier.

We loved the whole look of the barn, everything thought of too. Lovely comfortable bed, and awesome shower. We didn't need anything at all. The induction hob confused us momentarily but then realised we'd need a bigger pan haha.

Nothing! Only wish we'd stayed longer!!

My fiance and I visited here to celebrate our 11 year anniversary, and we loved it! Such a gorgeous place - located in a quiet area. It had everything we needed, and more; including cans in the fridge, dvds, books, tea and coffee. Comfy bed, good tv, great kitchen appliances, lovely outdoor seating area (although we didn't have the weather for it!). Great location - from here we visited Mevagissey, St Austell, Padstow, Newquay, Polperro, Looe, Perranporth and Bodmin. So it really was a fab place to stay to be able to visit so many places. The owners were lovely, and sent clear directions on how to get there, and clear instructions on getting the key. A truly wonderful place. Would definitely return, and would highly recommend if you wish to stay somewhere quiet, that's central to many attractions in Cornwall.

A bed is personal choice but we didn’t find the bed comfortable. It is a 4ft6 and low with a soft mattress. The Wi-Fi is very very slow .

The hosts are welcoming . The barn is converted to a high standard and well equipped with lovely views .. Everything was spotlessly clean

A high standard converted Pig Barn.

There is a lot of building around but that did not detract and surprisingly no noise. No where to cook pizza but that is in hand once garden is fully landscaped with an outdoor pizza oven and barbecue area planned. Once we saw the facilities we catered for our needs with no oven! The microwave and the hob top allowed our catering to be versatile and up to our expectation on holiday. Several nearby hostelries offered too.

The outstanding feel of the place and the wonderful wood finish. Everything had character and that special feeling. The owners were exceedingly helpful and full of gems about the area and life itself without being intrusive. They were open about current building works but we enjoyed seeing the conversion of their garage. Gave us ideas. Great to sit and see the sunset most nights. The barn had everything required and a high standard of all equipment. We loved it and the very high standard of decor and items provided. The owners catered for Gluten free needs which was a joy for us not having to decline complementary offerings. Milk, drink, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and GF biscuits were all in a lovely welcome hamper. Clear signage and instructions n equipment which he.led familiarisation of everything.
