Beautiful, clean and modern place. Value for money. Breakfast was good. Only thing I would comment on, is no information in rooms, like a menu or wifi code. Went to reception for some tourist guides and they ahd none. n Good nights sleep and good breakfast. Would stay again.

Saturday evening restaurant menu somewhat limited. Dishes overpriced - eg £38 for a steak, £22 for pie chips and peas.

The room's window faced onto a courtyard with an outdoor television and sound system, which was on until after 9pm despite no patrons being outside - which would not have been ideal if an early night was required.

The hotel was really nice, the rooms were nicely presented and clean. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Only down side I would say is to pay more attention to the curtains in the bedroom. When I went to close them I found they had stains all over them. Would love some closer disabled parking too. The walk was difficult for me.

Not quite as much variety for breakfast as I remember from previous visits. I would have liked more tea/ coffee/ biscuits in my room. In the bathroom, a shower cap would have been useful. As I’m 80 years old, getting in and out of the bath in order to have a shower is a bit difficult now and a mat in the bath would have made the experience safer.

As usual friendly welcoming staff; spotlessly clean room and very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet. Fairly easy parking. Felt safe in my room. Loved the thick, fluffy towels and powerful hair dryer.

The Convive Restaurant is poor, the guy running it on the night didn’t seem to care and the food is very overpriced and really not very good. There are many excellent restaurants within a few minutes walking distance or a short taxi ride away. The breakfast is good, appears to be separate from Convive.

The location and premises generally were excellent, perfect for our requirements.

The shower was very good, but I don’t like showers over a bath.

The room was rather cool initially but became warmer. The bed was smaller than I expected but comfortable. The room was quiet. Bathroom facilities were good, and heated towel rail was appreciated. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Reception staff not very welcoming on arrival Tv reception was not good lots of static Woken early by window cleaner doing the bedroom windows, not appreciated as I planned to sleep in a little longer.

The tea and coffee choices were a little basic but still adequate.

Cracking place to stay, it was a present to my husband for Christmas along with the T20 cricket, unfortunately that was cancelled due to the weather, however the stay over wasn’t wasted. A really comfortable nights sleep and a great shower followed by a stunning breakfast sent us on our way after a cheery departure from the reception staff!!

The restaurant was very disappointing. Food was expensive, not well cooked ( meat was so chewy it was sent back.) Be nice if they had knives that actually cut. Not a particularly friendly restaurant manager. Not what we expected.

Convenient to the event we were attending. Lovely building and grounds. Relaxed outside pub area. Quite at night.
