We had great weather while we stayed and spent a lot of the time outside. I think if we spent more time inside a couch would’ve been better than the table and chairs. Honestly it didn’t make a difference to our stay we loved it.

Amazing location, great value for money, views were fantastic and relaxing. We spend most of the night out by the fire. Was very secluded and peaceful. Would recommend!

The location is so peaceful. The views are stunning. The property is small, compact but has everything you can need. There is lots of space outside and again all the facilities you could need.

The bed frame had a tall metal foot end, if this wasn’t there, it would open up the room a lot more and give somewhere extra to sit.

Our stay in the little hut was very lovely and memorable! The hut is super nicely decorated, has everything you need and more, including some snacks provided as a nice touch. Easy to find with the owner’s directions, you feel like you are completely alone in the nature with a beautiful view, except for some cute sheep grazing around in the morning when you wake up! Just lovely. Thank you for the nice stay.

Would have liked more instructions on how to check in. Never met host. Just found hut, and key was in the door. Also, no coffee, but there was tea. Not a big deal. Still very nice stay!

Felt perfect to me!

Absolutely stunning views!! Super easy to walk to from train station and walking distance from loch Awe and Kilchurn Castle making it a rare find as able to explore area without a car. Really cozy with electric heater on and warm duvet and blankets, small oven/hot plate worked well.

Everything was great

The solitude, great for dark skies. Hut warms up quickly especially when curtains closed. There is a wood burner to light for sitting out admiring the views and the stars. Lobby was a lovely host and only a call away, though just a few minutes walk. The hut is small but has everything you need for a couple of days. Due to the size, there is no storage. Highly recommend and would stay here again

It was pretty cold even with the little stove on, us tropical folk are probably just not used to it.

Very private, no neighbours at all! We saw the stars and enjoyed the surroundings!

I slipped and fell on the steps - it was icy! We had the fire burning for about 8 hours! We used our own wood but also bought a bag that was provided. The toilet is small but the shower cubicle spacious. The electric fire wasn't so warm but that made it feel more like real camping!

The situation is special. We lived outside next to the fire and cooked our meal there. It was freezing but dry. Big bright moon. We were very lucky with the weather. Bed was comfortable and warm. Full size fridge if required. Cute traditional decor. No wifi but good phone connection using data. Take head torches if going in winter. We hope to return. Thank you.
