Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Central location, likely staff although they do need to check systems as we had the main knocking at 10am and a phone call at 12:50pm asking when we was checking out when I’d asked reception the day before for a 1pm check out and it had been okayed.

United KingdomWe booked a room with separate beds as we were travelling as friends but the hotel didn’t have the room we booked available (luckily there was one spare room which was out of service which we were able to use) but not a great start to the trip! The manager kindly offered us a complimentary drink and didn’t rush us when we had to move rooms the day after . The breakfast also wasn’t the best , especially for the price we paid!

EstoniaSince I left early in the morning, the breakfast served at 7:00 AM was not fully prepared. Therefore, I skipped breakfast and only grabbed a coffee to go. The £50 deposit that was taken as a guarantee was not communicated in advance and came as a surprise. I checked out on the 17th of September, and by the 18th, the deposit has not yet been refunded. The hotel should consider a different system, rather than holding the customer’s money.

United KingdomRoom 203 was a bit beaten up. The floor outside the bathroom was tatty and damaged and the step up to it is a weird design - bit hazardous. When checking out someone had given our room number for a bar bill which was incorrect as we did not do this. The lady on reception was brilliant though and she removed the charge no problem.
Location, style of hotel, spacious room and great breakfast. Great staff.

United KingdomThere was some confusion surrounding car parking despite me ringing before visiting to confirm that I would receive 25% discount at their recommended car park. Unfortunately when I arrived I was informed that this was not the case and that I should have been informed that I needed to book the car parking place in advance to qualify for the discount. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception but feel that I should have been told the correct information when I rang earlier that morning and as a result I had to pay the full price for car parking which at £35 for a single night I thought was expensive.

Beautiful hotel, the room was even nicer than the pictures portrayed. Very spacious, facilities fantastic and free snacks! The lady who checked me in was absolutely lovely, I wish I got her name. Extremely hospitable and kind.
