It was a shame the main restaurant was not open. Pizzeria was brilliant though 😊

Really quirky. Lots of places to sit and chill. Staff were excellent. First class service from everyone. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our room (3) bore no resemblance to the pictures advertising it which was misleading in my opinion. Only one side of the bed was easily accessible as that end of the room was so small. Room 3 was on the ground floor next to a noisy staircase and banging doors. Whilst a request, I had asked for a quiet room.

Great location for our needs on what is a sprawling hotel site. Staff pleasant and attentive. Breakfast catered for every desire possible, I was flummoxed as to where to start eating, so much wonderful choice. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower room. Our room was well furnished and cleaned promptly.

We were staying at the hotel for a wedding taking place there. Other guests had larger rooms with breakfast included but paid a lower price than us. We also did not have breakfast included. So it was overall quite expensive for the room and offer we had. We also had a room with a view onto dustbins!

Easy check in and check out. Room was clean and well equipped.

Walls are super thin, we could literally hear word for word another guest having a phone conversation in the room next to us. Floor boards in the hall were very squeaky, woke us up a number of times when people were walking past our room. Hardly any lounge beds in the pool area and the ones that were there are all pushed together into two pilers - not ideal nor practical having to lay on a lounger next to someone you didn’t know. Pool was very busy too, couldn’t even swim properly.

Food was nice and most of the staff were nice. Room was nice and big, clean, comfortable.

Lots of steps along the corridor which can be a bit too much for someone with walking difficulties. Toilet flush was a temperamental but no bad enough to report it.

Easy check in, cleanliness of the passage ways and rooms, staff very friendly. Rooms very quiet, and comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was plentiful and whatever you wanted cooked was cooked to order, none of this eggs and bacon under a heat lamp. So recommend to include breakfast.

My only ! complaint is in the pool area, it was a very overcast day so quite dark in the pool. Needs more lighting around the pool to read a book and pool needs to be lit. Everything else was GREAT.

The Tudor original building was amazing. Lovely helpful staff and very comfortable room.

What I didn’t like was arriving in the dark in the rain and having to walk all over the place to find my room which was i a building farthest away fro the main one and the having to climb the stairs carrying my luggage. But I don’t think I can blame the hotel except that I would have so appreciated some help.

The location, the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The young woman at reception was very helpful. After an intitial mistake she was more than kind to put things right and even to upgrade my room which was a delightful treat. I can’t remark on the dining because I barely used it but the breakfast spread looked wonderful and the views from the lovely dining room were very beautiful.
