Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

This is a good spot to lay your head. Clean linens, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The room offered instant coffee and tea. AC worked well. The rooms is very small. I was in a family room with a double and a twin. I have idea how 3 people would fair in this room. It was just enough space for 1 or possibly a couple. The carpet is quite dated and a bit musty. Other than that it’s a decent room for the price. Staff was very friendly.

United KingdomThe lady on Reception (I think she is the manager - wears a flower in her hair) is the NICEST lady!! She went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable in our room. We didn't sleep well on the first night due to the people next door slamming their door all night. The lady in Reception swapped our room to a quieter area and bigger room, allowed us to check in early and looked after our things following check out so we could explore before leaving. She truly was wonderful and so very helpful!! Thank you so much. Location is also amazing! 5 minute walk from Pimlico Underground, 20 minute walk from major landmarks like Buckingham Palace, St James Garden, Big Ben etc. Pimlico is a lovely location. Quiet at night, apart from a few planes, but plenty of shops and restaurants for you.

CanadaWhen booking, I added a day to our stay, and contacted the property directly to ask that we not have to move rooms. We had to spend one night in such a small room we could barely move. The bathroom door couldn't be closed - as it was damaged when we arrived. When we were moved to the larger room, we had more space but areas to put luggage weren't well thought out.
This accommodation is in a good location. Also, the air conditioning was appreciated. Wallpaper and design features were interesting - more modern than expected in these character buildings.

Poland- room was located at the lower ground - there was a space between floor and door so in the night lights from the hall was bothering us a bit to sleep - we wanted to eat yoghurts and they didn’t have spoons provided in the room (you had one use stick to stir) - no small fridge

The environment was quiet, and apart from the occasional roar of cars, there was little noise in the street. Nearby are Victoria Station, the River Thames and Buckingham Palace Gardens.
