Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JordanThere is a iron but no iron table ! Also the Basin faucet is too small to the long faucet that they have. I suggest to put a place designated for the suitcase

United KingdomYou can barely see or contact staff...reception was not opened when we were there. The laundry room was not working
Its a clean and good option for London prices. Not so close from the tourist attractions meaning you´ll have to learn to use the transport system. It has a small (tiny) kitchen, but enough for a few days.

United KingdomThe best stay in London so far I have traveled. Very clean hotel has a lift accessible, especially for old people. The location is quite far from London center but worth it. The bus station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel to nearby train station. Perfect stay!

United KingdomBuilding still under construction so not everything is fully complete. Entrance to building is in an alleyway so you need to know beforehand where it is and what to look for.
Bathroom was nice along with kitchen setup. Very clean and not too far from train station

GermanyNew business, extremely unorganized (changed the front door code without communicating and nobody picks up the phone ever ). Nice place if they can fix their operations. Location is dull and far outside town but decently connected via rail
Nice clean place with lots of amenities

United KingdomAforementioned transport but that was lack of familiarity with local area no reflection on your staff or property
It was a nice modern apartment. 3 of us stayed overnight as we were going to Wembley Arena to a live music event. Place was great, getting the hang of local public transport was a bit tricky. But was great place to stay would definitely recommend to friends

SpainSee above. Bruises from the bed frame. Bashed head on taps. Could not reach microwave plates etc. Designed for 6ft plus.
The receptionist he was a superstar. I hate to think what would of happened otherwise. Hotel not finished. Fire alarm went off nobody had a clue. Nobody was there. 8 people evacuated. Including my daughter that had just come out of heart surgery. We helped a man whose room was occupied by other clients. Nobody has thought this place out. Taps too long so end up splashing water over the floor. Be aware got locked in the shower twice. If I was alone I would now be dead. Requested a knife and chopping board. ( manager had taken a holiday on opening week) and the staff proceeded to find me them. Thankyou. No glasses. On the positive note when it is ready it will be good. Very quiet and next to a londis.

United KingdomWe only had one knife to eat with despite asking for another one. We were there three nights so was a bit of a pain when eating breakfast. Also, didn't like the face that it was easy access for anybody coming into the building as both the front door and landing door were not secure the whole time of our visit.
Location was great and studio fit for purpose.

United KingdomThey are actively renovating units, so if you come during the day (8am-4pm) you will hear the odd construction sounds. My main concern, is that it is behind a gas station and when we arrived (around 8pm) there was some unsavoury people loitering around.
Convenient location very close to Brent Cross West station. The units are freshly done, so it was a very comfortable stay. Everything you needed from stove, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, TV, etc. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower.

United KingdomThe check in process was a bit of a mess as I got a message to say check in via reception on 1st floor, so we went to the 1st floor and no obvious reception just a load of doors, so we tried other floors all looked the same, after messing about for 10 mins going up and down I then got a message on hot to collect m y keys from box number 13, so that was good but then we tried box 13 and there was no key card in there, so I tried to call someone - no answer, couldn't find anyone to ask, so then back in the lift to try and find someone, eventually I found a housekeeper who helped but then to be told check in wasn't unil 2pm (I had actually paid for early check in), she them phoned someone who asked my name and said its not room 13 (i Checked the email again and showed the house keep it was 100% number 13) however it seems they should have sent me details to check in to room 30, once we got the details for that we had to wait then for our room to be finished being cleaned as they had not been told about the early check in, we finally got in our room about 20 past 12 (no biggy) but think check in needs to be bettered
I liked the studios were self contained with a kitchenette but was a little small for 3 people, however the rooms were lovely
