Mother and son travelling - twin room. Elegant interior and quality fittings throughout. Clearly a lot of thought gone into interior design. Peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Lovely location opposite park in up market neighbourhood. Parking both on site and on street. Very good location. Easy 5 min walk into town and close to castle.

Taps at basin (had to turn for a while before any water and then only little more than a trickle) and plug didn't work.

Brekfast very good; shower bigger than expected (described as 'compact'); quiet and leafy location.

I thought I had the shower in the beautiful claw foot bathtub figured out. I made certain to pull the curtain all around. But when my boyfriend returned he exclaimed in horror that there was water everywhere. We thought for certain there was a leak but the next morning when he took a shower, he made certain to wrap the curtain around the fixtures and he had no problem. I felt so bad!! I tried so hard.

The house itself is beautiful. It faces a beautiful park. The entire neighborhood is beautiful. The breakfast room is so pretty. The staff are so helpful and happy. You don't realize how important that is until you are confronted with unhappy staff. Due to a change in plans we asked for and received an additional night - staff made that change as comfortable and easy as possible. Loved both rooms, but the top room was so pretty I didn't want to leave. I made tea and curled up on one of the comfy chairs by the bay window and read. The room also had something that tasted like Drambuie in a carafe with a small glass that was delicious and well appreciated! as was the white spa robe. A steady rain fell outside and I was so cozy.

The hotel is in a lovely area of Stirling in close walking distance of Stirling Castle, and about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were incredibly lovely, friendly and generous with their time, making many recommendations of places to go and the best ways to get there. The guest lounge and dining room are lovely and comfortable, and the room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and lovely toiletries provided (combination shower gel + shampoo & conditioner). The breakfast included was absolutely delicious - we had porridge with whisky, brown sugar and cream, and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was lovely. Will be recommending highly!

No square sausage or haggis with the Scottish breakfast! Only a minor thing, but love traditions.

    Loved everything.

Loved loved loved the furnishings in our bedroom as well as the large common area room (living room). The location is across faces Victoria Park which is an open green space. The Kings Park area is beautiful with stately homes, including this grand dame. Only a 15 minute walk to the castle which sits above the B&B. Very quiet and private. Staff is attentive and helpful. Clear crème Sherry and 2 glasses are awaiting every guest in their room. The restaurant is only open Wednesday through Saturday so be sure to reserve beforehand as it is popular and charming in a glassed enclosure. It was closed the 2 nights of our stay but a number of restaurants were recommended before our arrival. B&B Scottish Hospitality Award 2024

It's a little pricey, the check out time of 10.30am is really early and the the toilet in the bathroom makes a lot of noise as it's a design for small water pipes and so will make that noise all the time.

Overall a great place in a great location run by great people. Room was great, sizeable and comfortable and the breakfast options were really good.
