Upon arrival we were met by (I think) the owner who was lovely and very friendly. We were shown to our room (no3). The room was immediately clean and nicely presented with high ceilings and large windows. The room was lovely and warm but not too hot. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the shower was lovely. I can’t actually find fault with our stay at all. We parked in the ncp across the road which is £6 for 24 hours but did find out we could of got a pass to park on the street (we we happy to pay the £6). The hotel is only a couple of now all to the town and again a couple of minutes to the seafront and pier. There are some great restaurants only a road or so over too

What could have been even better? I think an improvement would be to have more information on Eastbourne itself. There were maps at the reception but maybe info on restaurants, things to see/do etc (although everything is easy to find on a mobile anyway). Also there was no breakfast available which hadn't been updated on the website/Booking.com though the host was able to recommend some nice cafe's nearby.

The host had upgraded us free of charge to an en-suite with 4 poster bed as it was my wife's birthday and even gave us her own mobile number in case we needed anything. She was the perfect host.

I would prefer to have the option to get breakfast in the hotel, best as room-service on this trip

The location is perfect, close to the City Centre and to the beach. A good choice of restaurants and bars are in the area around the hotel. I will book again should I head towards Eastbourne in the future.

Hotel was noisy at night from a combination of other guests coming and going, as well as noise coming from outside the hotel.

The location was great, the staff were very helpful and the room was ideal. Nice bathroom, good shower too.

Lift out of order which could be tricky for the infirm or those with lots of luggage as it was the top floor but didn't bother us at all.

A budget room with small bathroom but did the job for us as we were only using it as a base for a night out. Comfy bed, shower with hot water straight away, tea and coffee, hairdryer and a pleasant girl called Yenny who showed us up to the room. Great location, close to the pier etc.

Nothing ..no faults at all

The location was perfect .. phone call on the way for our time of arrival and then met when we arrived which I’ve never had before .. then to be given a upgrade to one of there luxury suites just made the stay absolutely perfect .. beds made /towels changed/ and room cleaned every morning.. no breakfast but a small cafe 2 minutes walk down the road called the Snug was great … will definitely go back …Superb Guest House 😁👍… room 7 has a balcony..full view of the sea

There is nothing we didn’t like of our stay.

The room was very nice, big and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The bathroom was very new and spotless provided with very good quality toiletries. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend the place.

There was no breakfast option in the hotel to book.

I love the location, very close to the seaside, to the Pier. Room was also Ok, clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only issue was that we could not have the breakfast at the hotel. There was no breakfast option in the hotel. Except of that everything was great.

Room was a little dated in decor but the cleanliness and size made up for this.

Welcome was very warm, and the room was very clean and comfortable. So close to the beach and we had off-street parking too. Yeni (apols for spelling) was excellent - really helpful and attentive, giving lots of recommendations where we needed them.
