Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI'd imagine that on busier nights you'd have to be a bit tactical on when to take a shower.
Outstandingly well set-up glamping/bell tent, on a delightful little site with a laid-back vibe. We were very comfortable and really impressed with the thought and care that had gone into the tent. Sadly, only there for one rather wet night, but the rain stayed on the correct side of the canvas and we had a great time. We'll be back. More generally: looks like a good, well-drained site with level ground. Well-spaced pitches, nowhere too far from water, lots of electric hook-up points. Friendly donkeys.

A very quiet location. Plenty of space between the bell tents. You can park next to your accommodation. The tents contained everything we needed.

GermanyIt's a really beautiful experience - the tents are gorgeous, and equipped with really everything you need. Just bring your own food (don't forget about herbs and spices, if you plan on cooking) and charcoal for a barbecue - that's it! Cutlery, pots, dish-washing liquid, it's all provided for. The place itself is really nice as well, and the staff were lovely, too - even though we didn't actually meet them, they texted me several times to ask if everything was alright or if we needed anything. Washrooms and toilets are nice and rather clean (it's a campsite, so this will always depend on the people around you, right?). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave after just one night, hope to be back again in one of our next holidays!!

United KingdomI was after some peace and quiet for a recharge and Valley Farm was perfect. The communication with the owner was great. The Bell Tent itself was beautifully presented and complete with all sorts of amenities you wouldn't necessarily expect including electricity, kitchen crockery and utensils, mini-heater, and a cool box. There's enough space between tents to feel secluded, and the outdoor table/chairs, barbecue, and gas stove were another great perk. Had a brilliant night's sleep on a comfy bed with the sounds of birds singing, wind rustling through branches, and the occasional donkey bray!

United KingdomThe only thing that I found was that the toilet was a little bit of a walk. The facilities though were reallly nice. It wouldn't stop me going again, but I think for families with children, might need to take a potty, or something. It's a bit strong to say I 'didn't like it' - it was actually nice to get a stroll.
It was such a lovely treat to stay in this bell tent! The owners have thought of everything, and provided all the crockery, a gas-fired camping stove, seating - it's really beautiful. The bed was so comfy, and I had a fantastic night's sleep. It was so nice to be surrounded by just birds (and the odd, overhead nerdy plane-spot) - I was even able to drive my car over to park next to the tent, which made packing really convenient. There was power, heating, and everything I needed. The owners even kindly left me change for the shower, which was lovely and warm. I'd definitely stay again - perfect for a relaxing stay if visiting Oxford or Witney!

South AfricaWe did not realise that the pizza hut was not open on week nights, after arriving latish still needed to head out for dinner. The showers needed a £1 to heat, we never saw this clearly on booking.com & had no pound coins as we only had a card. But it makes perfect sense! Just needs to be made more clear on the site: Pizza nights available, £1 on hand & bath towels. Perhaps an extra wide blanket. No deal breakers to report! We loved it.
It was a super whimsical feeling to sleep in a bed in a tent. The tent was comfortable and pleasant. The site was beautiful and happy with families etc around. Xenia was very kind and accommodating. Really well equipped with little extras like cooler box, electricity, frozen ice bricks etc. We wished to stay longer.

United KingdomThankfully we had dry weather but have to say we would have been snookered if it had rained. Cooking and dining was very much geared for the good weather. A picture of a dining area made it look like this was available for all tents, but this was a shared space. Perhaps would have been better with a covered area per tent as there was certainly enough space to accommodate one. Grass had only had one cut, so it was still super long and consequently meant we dragged tonnes of wet grass into tent. Thankfully, we bought wellies as people were moaning with sandals only. Definitely should have had a second cut. We had a vacant spot next to us, which only had base and abandoned table and chairs and bbq. Didn't look particularly nice. Facilities were good. Maybe not enough for the number of pitches it was catering for. Disappointed that we had to walk quite a way from the Bell tents to toilets. Would have thought the field warranted it's own toilet really. Would have been good to see separate bins for recycling and dog waste Road noise quite loud at times. Definitely a site with lots of potential, but I feel it's got someway to go yet.
The bell tent looked nice on arrival and catered for what we needed. All equipment provided was what you would need Pizza hut is a good bonus. Not that we used it, but it seemed very popular

United States of AmericaSuper friendly staff! We arrived a little late, but check in was super simple. She directed us over the phone to our tent where we were staying for the night. Our host checked in with us once in the evening and once in the morning to make sure we have everything we needed and that things were going smoothly. The tent was very charming and spacious. She was super kind to provide advice on what to bring and everything was ready and beautiful when we arrived. I would highly recommend staying here!
