There were no bedside tables. A couple of cheap IKEA ones with a small lamp would have been better than nothing.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable.

There weren't a lot of horizontal surfaces in the bathroom, so a great deal of shuffling was necessary to manage towels, toilet paper, toiletries, etc.

The location was very convenient and the room was definitely well-cleaned. The very soft mattress was a plus for me, though others may feel differently. Lovely water pressure in the shower and a great view of the city from the window.

The bathroom being down the corridor was a bit of a pain, but I knew about this when I booked it. The lock was a bit tricky. Some of the other guests were a bit loud but that's not the fault of the hotel.

The bed was extremely comfy, the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location is great and there are lots of cafes and things nearby.

The ensuite was poor. The attic roof and layout made it very cramped. The auto light didn't work properly plus switched offid shower. The stairs were very tricky to navigate with bags. Thd mid stair flight with red carpet is badly worn.

It was nice and bright being in the top of the building and felt safe, especially as I was on my own for the first two nights of our stay.

Our door needed a handle on it. Looks like it was newly replaced and the lock was hard to open without a handle. Otherwise it was great!

Location was great and walkable to all the major things we wanted to do in the city.

It was quite expensive for a single room with a small-ish shower. I assume that was because of an event going on during our stay, though.

Staff was so helpful and friendly, and they gave us tips and tricks for the city. They also carried our bags up to our room - such a perk because our room was on the top floor and there isn't an elevator. The room was kept so clean, and the shower had nice hot water.

The hotel does not have a lift and if I had known I would not have made a booking. My partner and I are both over 60 and our room was three floors up! Bathroom very tiny.

Great location to cafes, restaurants and public transport.

Clarity from the time of booking about how we would access the Townhouse if we arrived after 2 or 3. This wasn’t available until the day we arrived by which time we had altered our plans to make sure we were early.

It's an OK stay but I don't think it's value for money. The best thing about is the location.

The room was rather small and the bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen, if you're a bigger person you're going to have difficulties. The Internet connection is not reliable. The floor is squeaky. Mini-wardrobe There's a notice that forbids eating in the room (really?). Near the end of the stay, they message/remind you to leave a review but also clarify that a score below 8 would have a negative impact. Sorry, but telling people to rate higher is not how it works. Overall it's pricey for the value you're getting, and the best thing about it is the location. The worst is the small bathroom.

The location is good, ~15 min walk to the city center, a few pubs and coffee shops nearby + a park. Rooms are clean.

Need to walk from the castle for 15-20 minutes but it’s not a problem, the location is lovely. The room is small but for the price it’s fine

Our room has a very good window and we could see a beautiful church! The location is also okay, need to walk a bit from the castle but there are many nice cafes and restaurants nearby and we found the location very comfortable for staying. (We had another place close in the old town and it was not very comfortable.) In addition staffs are very kind and helpful.

We really liked the notice about the towels, only those left in/hanging from the shower were to be washed. Problem was that they took the towels that weren't hanging there. Not a complaint, just an observation! We had a great stay!

The vegan and environmentally friendly feel.

The toilet didn’t appear to be attached to the wall properly so was a bit unstable.

Location was great, the room was clean and quite large. Self check in and check out were fairly easy and it was a great base to explore the city from.

The shower/water pressure was awful. It would sometimes work fine and then suddenly turn off halfway through a shower or be pretty much 2 drops and same with the tap. The hairdryer was also terrible as it only had a cold setting and did nothing to dry either of our hair more than just stop it from dripping (not ideal in the winter). The sensor lights in the bathroom would also turn off during showers because of the placement of it (though I do think they're a great idea to save energy!) The noise wasn't always ideal as other guests next door would randomly start singing and talk quite loudly outside the hallway/on the stairs. However we were only staying for a couple of nights so didn't feel the need to raise this unless it had gotten excessive which it didn't :) I had an issue with the price, not at the hotel's fault but rather and issue with Booking.com who over charged me.

Staff were friendly, and whilst being a bit of a walk initially from the station it was such an ideal location for my sister and I with lots of supermarkets/bars/cafes/dinner places around. The size of the room was perfect for 2 and the TV and view were awesome. Bed was really comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable I've had at a hotel. Check in was super easy and there was even a bus stop outside (not that we used it as we were happy to walk).
