Great facilities - room was great - really comfortable, relaxing, and spotlessly clean. Hotel and room decor was lovely and location was perfect - right in the centre of Cambridge City Centre and overlooking Parker’s Piece; beautiful in Summer.

It was very hot and there was an odd smell in the vestibule outside our room, slightly like room service had been left for sometime.

2nd time at this hotel. Location is great, staff v friendly & professional. Nice touch is fresh milk with Tea and Coffee, useful small fridge & complimentary bottles of water. Room otherwise has all basic amenities and toiletries are great. V busy on day we arrived with a wedding function but check in and assistance was still quick and helpful. Will be back for next trip.

    Nothing!

First of all, smells amazing. Beautiful building and environment. Excellent staff - breakfast service was fast and smooth. Lovely room, comfortable beds and quiet- didn’t hear ANYTHING all night. The central location is of course a huge plus, and worth every penny.

Had one evening meal in Parkers Tavern. Very slow service, but our food was good though not worth the high prices. Ate in local restaurants after that much better value for money.

A taste of luxury in central Cambridge. A perfect location for exploring all the city has to offer.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. The staff were clearly working very hard and all credit to them for dealing with the busy morning period on a Bank Holiday weekend. However, for the price paid, and the quality of everything else in the hotel, the cooked breakfast wasn't quite to the same standard. Bacon was undercooked and not great cuts and detracted from what was otherwise a very good offering. Orange juice from the buffet, which was otherwise a very good selection, tasted like it was from concentrate and was disappointing for a hotel which was otherwise excellent.

The room was exceptional, very comfortable and had a touch of luxury. The ensuite bathroom and shower were spacious and very easy to use, and were also very luxurious. Having a dog friendly room was also a welcome option and our four-legged friend was made very welcome.

The bed was too firm for me - however the housekeeping suggested next time we mention this when booking and another topper could be found.

The location is superb, the bedrooms with Park view are beautiful and spacious as was the en-suite. Nice toiletries. fabulous pillows. lovely tea and coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. The staff are helpful cheerful and obviously well trained. I don't expect service to be this on point in the UK! The bar and restaurant are both very good.

    I can't think of anything.

Very welcoming and efficient staff on reception in the beautiful lobby, we had a nice room overlooking the park (as booked). The shower was great! Parker's Tavern is also beautifully restored with very good staff, a nice and varied menu and lovely bar. A great place to hang out and eat at the end of a long day. Location is good and only a few minutes to the centre of town. My husband used the gym and ran around Parker's Piece. It's pricey (as most hotels in Cambridge) but well worth it. We'll be staying there again.

Attention to detail was sometimes a little lacking in areas. For instance I asked for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to the room on arrival. They forgot, also flowers arranged were left at reception.

The room was fine but the hotel has very little public space for sitting or working outside of the restaurant. It was also very hard to get the room cleaned (despite multiple requests) and it was a pretty superficial "cleaning." Overall it was fine ut given the price, I expected more. Elevators are also very slow.

Great location, nice size room and a very nice and large bathroom
