You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomVery expensive. Not very welcoming. There are many hotels in these squares of Brighton and although this was more full of pretty things sometimes it’s the service that counts more. There were lots of threats about taking toiletries or furnishings. I’m not convinced the toiletries were the fancy ones they claimed.. watered down cheap versions. This square also has the i360 so not the best view of the sea. Also the seagulls are very noisy from 4am. Not the fault of the hotel. There was a person smoking in the room next door and made our room smell as well. No view from our room. Breakfast is not included in the inflated price.

United KingdomGreat location close to the beach, the Lanes and the i360. Comfy large room with a separate 'living room' space and a massive bath in the lovely bathroom. Lots of little added extras, including a coffee maker, toiletries, robes and slippers. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The lift is an added bonus!

United KingdomThe curtains were so thin that even with the blinds the light just poured through which woke us both up very early.
The welcome was warm and genuine, the hotel is full of quirky art and sculptures, the room, whilst small, had everything we needed... good mirror with a light, hanging space and a couple of chairs to enjoy a cuppa. Shower was hot and plenty of pressure, the towels were enormous and fluffy. We didn't eat breakfast but it looked amazing. The location is perfect, close to both Brighton and Hove but not too hectic.
