The steamroom wasn't working, but the pool, sauna and gym are all very good so it didn't matter too much.

Repeat guests. Very comfortable stay in deluxe room with a lovely view across golf course. Restaurant has upped its game and we enjoyed another good dinner there.

The shower head was fixed to the wall, It must be flexible and be able to move it about. The toilet roll is under the sink and gets wet The Gym & pool closed early on Saturday, the staff did not inform us when we arrived even though we discussed the gym on arrival Restaurant floor was dirty on Sunday morning No temperature control in the room - thermostat did not work, the temperature had to be reduced by the staff The toilet flush is very low quality and fell off during the stay Jacuzzi near the pool is very low quality, the better hot tub / jacuzzi area is an additional cost The bathroom could be cleaner, maybe add a toilet brush in the room

Breakfast was really good quality food but unfortunately service let it down with most things running out and having to wait for them to come out, even sugar for tea, hot water, sausages etc. so disjointed breakfast.

Great spa, lovely treatments and area to relax. good bar, lots of different alcohol options, good food at the restaurant. Room more spacious than I thought. Late check out 11am really good. Very baby friendly including poolside and changing rooms!

The breakfast was very nice, however it was absolute carnage. Didnt need to give room number, could have walked in off the street and had a free breakfast. The staff were majorly out numbered and not prepared. No hot food amiable and when it was they only brought out one item, had to wait for plates, cutlery, coffee machine didn't work. People queuing up all over the place because the breakfast layout was dysfunctional. I dont think any management was on shift to help or organise. When I say carnage I mean actual carnage. Not all items were available from the menu.

The dessert was not up to expectations but staff dealt with it well. Breakfast was disappointing , rather sullen staff, food not replenished quickly enough. Poor quality sausages but excellent coffee.

We had a pleasant weekend stay here with friends for the weekend. Nice pool & gym and good breakfast. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, food was good and staff were friendly.

It feels like it was once a booming resort but is now on its last legs with bare minimum staff trying to keep it afloat. I think there were much more gym/pool users and local golfers than hotel guests as we only saw a handful of people at breakfast.

A nice quiet resort with plenty of space and scenic views over the golf course. Lovely spa and great range of treatments available.

Hotel generally needs a refurbishment.....Our room 238 was very dull & furniture was mismatched and very worn in places. When we arrived windows were filthy but they were cleaned promptly when I notified reception. Cleaning standards need to be higher especially around the Bath. No slippers as advertised Thermal Spa in need of decoration its very bland & not very tranquil.....Pool area also seen a better day
