Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel rooms are in a separate block across the car park from the pub so no noise from the restaurant and is on a very busy road but we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all so we had a great night’s sleep. Room was clean with a good layout and bed was very comfortable. You can open the window which you can’t always do in hotel rooms. Decent shower over the bath with plenty of hot water. Good size car park so plenty of parking spaces. We didn’t have breakfast at the pub but we had our evening meal there and chose the midweek two courses for £16.75 meal option and the food was very good. Check out is not till 11am which is really good and is quick and easy, you just simply drop your key card into a box as you leave the building

2 Rivers just gets everything right! Hopefully the new managers will maintain the high standards and well trained staff. Having the accommodation away from the pub is great and the rooms are so well planned. There is plenty of parking and a great value breakfast, which is optional.

IrelandOur family room was a double bed a single bed and a mattress on the floor under the single bed. we had to move the bedside lockers out of the way and shift the double bed into the corner to get the mattress out from under the single bed. We ended up with a very cramped area to move around in for the night.
We stopped here overnight on our way to legoland after driving down through Wales. It's a clean spot, The food was OK but expensive.

United KingdomNo lift available. Only one keycard provided which makes it difficult as a card is needed for the power when one person wants to go out as you need the card to get back into the building. Perhaps two keycards could be standard practice if there are two guests?
The accommodation has been upgraded and is much better than when we have stayed previously. The member of staff on duty was very welcoming and all paperwork was ready so check-in was very smooth. Lots of car parking so no worries about finding a space. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

This is a reliable stay. the rooms re basic, but modern and comfortable enough. The dining is good (although my breakfast omelette was not good at all) and the staff by and large helpful and accomodation. parking is plentiful and easy and the location a 10 minute stroll from Chepstow town centre.
