We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomAn external marquee was close to our room and an event was noisy but at least finished at 11.30pm so allowed a good nights sleep. Had to ask for replacement toilet roll and extra shower and shampoo gel. Some traffic noise but not obtrusive.
Excellent room, good breakfast, great location. Visited Hardwick Hall and friends. The accommodation was a 'suite' where we had a bathroom, small sitting room, bedroom and outside deck. Free car park for residents.

This isn't fancy but it's comfy and isn't trying to be anything else so you are getting exactly what you expect. The staff were really lovely both evening and morning. Lily and sorry can't remember the other ladies name.

Rooms were lovely and clean Bed slightly uncomfortable as two singles joined so had the gap in middle of bed Nothing was too much trouble for staff on duty we even had room service which was a good touch! Breakfast was great as was dinner proper homemade chips!!! Lovely!

Close to an event we were attending, easy to locate. Had a bar, garden seating and a restaurant. Spotless room , nicely decorated and a shower room with a heated towel rail. Very good choice in the restaurant on Saturday evening and at breakfast. Reception staff helpful.

United KingdomSound proofing could be better, hotel was not full but quite a bit of noise from neighbouring guests. Breakfast quality was definitely not up to the evening meal standard. For £12.95 I would expect something as good or better than the usual competition. Universal remote did not operate all functions on tv. All minor issues, I will return to this hotel if in the area.
Easy to find and great location for our needs.Room decor was modern and the bed was massive and comfortable. Bar area was nice to relax in. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was very nice.

United KingdomThere wasn't a lot not to like given the cost. The bed was a bit hard - for us...the only issue was the outside lights which were on all night - the curtains only cut out 50% of the light so if you need a dark room to sleep (and one of us does) this is a problem.
It was just what we needed for a stopover on a long journey. Pleasant, clean...'no frills' but all round did the job.

Right next to M1, so very convenient. Staff friendly and helpful. Average sized room, which was clean. Effective shower. Kettle, tea, coffee and biscuit there.
