wobbly toilet roll holder (every room we have stayed in they are wobbly) under the bath taps when you turn them on is black with mold and the shower head needs a good clean lack of tea and coffee in room only 2 tea and 2 coffee not refreshed when on a 2 night stay

Location near main road. I don't like air con so had to have the window open which was noisy.Car park not secure.

Our first morning we had breakfast it took close to an hour to come out and a few things were neglected like tables not being cleared, no hot chocolate in the machine, lack of plates at the continental breakfast etc and all left to one front of house waiter to take the flack of numerous complaints about wait times - who graciously gave us a refund. The next morning they lost us to the tried and tested McDonalds breakfast. Overall the rooms are very similar to a premier inn. Clean and comfortable.

The location was a good base for us for a nearby wedding. Basic rooms but just what you needed for the price

Tables in the pub dont get cleaned very fast and service can be a bit slow.

Rooms seem to be well kept. Staff are friendly enough. Food is reasonable. Better than you would expect for a services, I've stopped quite a few times now best place to stop in Spalding.

Was bit disappointed when I tried to ring day before stay to request early check in (2pm rather than 3pm) as attending family funeral at 3pm and needed to freshen and change following 4 hour car journey. Did get through to someone and explained but when they put me through to hotel I got cut off - twice. No real problem though as staff were more than helpful.

I did try to get early check in day before - unsuccessfully- and although room wasn’t ready staff were very helpful as we needed to freshen and change to attend a family funeral. Sorted thanks to them. Room was lovely and clean and well laid out with everything we needed. Breakfast options were good as was food. Overall very nice environment and felt comfortable enough to come back and stay again. Would I stay again? Yes - definitely. Would I recommend? Yes - definitely.

I was a little disappointed with the tea/coffee selection provided, No decafe coffee was available and very little sugar obviously this was not noticed when the room was prepared, so I had to use my own. Unfortunately the television was not working properly due to a poor signal.

The room was nice and clean and well appointed, as the rooms were in a separate building to the pub next door it was nice and quiet. The location was good as it had excellent access to the nearby main road. The pub next door provided good meals and breakfast at reasonable prices.

Still waiting for a £76.50 refund charged when we checked in on 3rd July.Despite telling the staff member I had paid the full amount of £211.50 on 29th June.On checking out on Saturday 6th July l queried the payment with another member of staff who went on the computer and she said she had sent it to head office and it would be refunded. STILL WAITING.

The fan in the bathroom seems to make a noise mist if the time. The TV guide had defaulted to Jan 1 1970 😆 However, everything else was so good that it did not detract from a great stay.

The room was spacious and cosy. The bed was big and very comfortable. We had breakfast and 2 evening meals in the bar next door. All excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar was clean and there was plenty room between the tables. The food arrived in good time and was very good. The Tulip Queen is placed next to the main road for good access and the nearby petrol station is the cheapest around.

Heavy doors on the accessible room makes it less accessible (could adjust the door closer to make easier). The shower head was at the top of rail, not reachable from a wheelchair, fortunately not travelling solo this time. This could be on your cleaners check list. Bathroom light not easily accessible being outside and far side of the door.

Friendly staff. They'd not got the message about twin beds put on booking.com system, but changed them right away for us. Clean and comfortable room.
