Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomMyself and my daughter stayed here for one night. Arrived late after a long journey and the room was a delight. Clean, comfortable and had all the little extras to make the stay even better. The shower was incredible. That was my daughters words. The decor was pleasing and made the room feel like a small apartment. With kitchen facilities and enough space for everything. We loved the breakfast items. I especially enjoyed the homemade granola. We both said we are booking again in January when we have to come back to do her exams again. This little find is now in our list! We even spoke to two other guests getting their car this morning and they said it was a great find! Well done 👍

United KingdomSteep narrow hill down to the property, but this wasn't really a problem given we only ever saw 1 other car using the lane.
We particularly liked the fabulous breakfast & later than average checkout (11am) so that we could eat the breakfast at a leisurely pace! Fresh farm eggs, sausages and bacon left in our fridge as well as homemade granola and muesli + more! The property was also lovely and warm.

United KingdomMaybe an iron and ironing board provided? Minor concern, but I hate asking for one and normally bring a small board and travel iron with me.
Love the food provided, and the fact I can sort it when I like and how I like it. Mostly sourced from your farm shop so top quality.

United KingdomAll very good, wouldn't have minded some fresh fruit such as apples and pears amongst the breakfast items but no biggie.
Beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing. Really liked the personal touches amongst the decor, with the music industry related items. Lovely breakfast and a very swift response to a request for a bread reload. Car charger very handy and reasonable.

United KingdomFrankly, unable to find any negatives - expectations were exceeded!
Location excellent - just off A4 yet very quiet and peaceful, no barking dogs, no noisy children, just the distant hum of traffic and occasional lowing from cows in the fields below. Beautiful views across farms/countryside. Very convenient for visitors to Bath - although our exploring was set around the many nearby National Trust properties. Room (Crows Nest) was spacious - more like an apartment. The main windows face due west across the valley so you cannot miss the glorious sunset. Breakfast is a DIY - with farm sausages/bacon/eggs in the fridge along with fresh milk (see the cows from the window), home made muesli, bread etc, rounded off with more coffee makers to choose from than John Lewis'. We absolutely loved our all-too-brief stay, and really hope to return in the springtime. Thank you.

United KingdomNo complaints!
We stayed in the Crow's Nest, which is huge for just two people! Super comfy bed and cloud-like bedding, fully equipped kitchen, great shower. Excellent range of breakfast items left in the kitchen for us to to make, incl. the farm's sausages, eggs and bacon, homemade muesli and granola and lots of other tasty stuff. Amazing views, lovely country walks nearby, pub within walking distance.

United KingdomThe bed was very uncomfortable
You cook breakfast yourself but the selection of ingredients was fabulous, including sausages, bacon, fresh eggs, cereal, orange juice, bread! It was like staying in a mini cottage, bonus was seeing the chickens in the AM during our little walk around the grounds.

United KingdomI’m often charmed by style and character, but never so much as the Crow’s Nest at T’s. It also has very unusual attributes in its wonderful taste - and personality (reflecting those of the owners). Unique and unforgettable, comfortable and spacious, all with attention to every detail.

United StatesThe property is quant and charming. The vista is beautiful. I loved the fresh food from the farm along with homemade bread waiting for us when we arrived. Their sausage is some of the best I’ve had. We were also greeted by two lovely orange tabby cats - Fred and George and they were very hospitable!
