Beautiful industrial building converted to a hotel, with great features. Super comfortable beds. Shazad offered great hospitality and a friendly welcome.

Weird stain on the wall, thin difficult to operate windows, not enough pillows, bed not very comfortable, felt quite dated. The biggest issue- though not the fault of the property- was the constant loud noise from outside from the surrounding student properties. The curtains and single glazed windows did nothing to help this, there was loud music and noise from outside until at least 5am. The lobby and checking in also felt like a weird liminal space, with dull, buzzing lights- the monosyllabic receptionist was completely disinterested and it felt like we were a real burden on his day for being there.

It was fairly inexpensive, and the building itself was very striking. It felt like it was probably a very nice place to stay, once upon a time.

The rooms weren't clean at all, several marks over the walls which would have just wiped off. Stains on the ceiling from leaks, the shower and sink had mould and mildew which you could again easily have gotten rid of and the bed isn't accessible from both sides, quite a squash!! Lots of debris behind the curtains, which were closed, I assume because the windows are so filthy? Not really worth £130 a night!! Also in a student area with parties banging out music til 3am

Lovely old building, staff were very helpful and friendly on check in. Bed was comfy

Hotel had the appearance and feel of being run down and neglected. It had signs of being previous student accommodation. Not disgusting but cleaning could be better.

Close to city centre. Late booking and check in. Quiet. Comfortable bed.

No parking and difficult to find anywhere nearby as yellow lines and restricted parking in an area full of student accommodation. Close to shops and other attractions though. Mattress was basic and creaky, bed squashed in to a corner so only accessible from one side. Microwave was very dirty and fridge goes off when you take the card out of the slot in the room when you leave.

Love the building and the staff are great.

On arrival at reception it had this strange smell the bar/breakfast area was closed and looked no longer in use . I originally booked a balcony room on the top floor. As it had more space in the advert. The lower floor has the bathroom kitchen a wardrobe and a chair within a 9 mtr square area. The bed is up a steep flight of stairs. The balcony rail was all loose and wobbly. The space had just enough room for a desk the double bed pushed up against a wall with 1ft room to walk pasted on the other side. A desk with bo chair. The TV is on a bracket that would not allow the TV to swing enough so it can be seen from the bed. The bathroom tiles are broken not good for bare feet. The balcony was depressing just an outside smoking area. No seating. This room was not suitable for me. The reception offered me another room all on one level. Al though this wasuch better. The bathroom tile on the floor broken again. No toilet roll holder or towel rail just the brackets left the bed had had its time of use. The floor squeaked. I had to complain about guests above walking round and talking very loud late at night due to the floor noise and paper thin walls. Again reception was brilliant in sorting the issue. The pictures and the website are not of current standard of this hotel.

The building is stunning. The long windows in the room or the balcony offered in some rooms The concept of the original vision can be seen throughout the building.

Bathroom floor tiles cracked and felt like they were giving way under foot. Quite disconcerting. Everything else was fine, just minor gripes. No back on TV remote, desk had damage and chair was stained, otherwise very clean and a nice room overall. No onside parking, which I knew, but street parking in high demand for the area so I was lucky to find a spot a couple of streets away. Not ideal but as I mentioned, I knew this prior to booking.

Lovely building and room was nicely laid out and clean and tidy. Basic fittings. Big windows. Bed was as good as it needed to be. Sheets very clean and pillows and duvet seemed high quality.

Wouldn't say it was the cleanest, also broken tiles in the bathroom, few other bits were broken, walls marked. TV didn't have any channels when questioned how to get it working the staff member explained that we needed to connect to WiFi in order to log onto our own TV profiles such as Netflix, but we couldn't connect to WiFi so we were left without TV.

Room big enough. Kettle and coffee were available which I thought was nice. Didn't realize it was more of a student accommodation however it was quiet during the night. 30 min walk from the city center which is decent. The price for the night was fair. Easy access in out of hours time, secure building as well so that was very reassuring. Easy check in and check out. Fridge available in the room.

The light in the bathroom only stays on for approx 1 min 30 seconds. Not even enough time to use the toilet let alone the shower. The shower is tiny. We has people screaming in the hallway all night the first night then the second night started the same but the staff did resolve it quickly the second time

The balcony is nice and the fact the bedroom is away from the kitchenette and bathroom is a plus
