The signage to the Townhouse rooms was very hard to see. Just a small sign near the door. I was in room 5 and the stairs are very steep and lots of them. The noise from the pub patrons outside wasn't too bad but did go on until quite late and the music too, but that is staying next to a pub is all about.

Location was great. 10 minute walk from the station. 5 minute walk into the city centre. The room was spacious and clean. The pub downstairs was good. Checking in to the room is handled by the pub and was quite easy.

Breakfast is not available but there were a couple of places near to buy your own. Had to pay for parking but not over expensive in a nearby secure covered parking lot.

The decor is a little dated and some areas need a little TLC. It’s a bit noisy being above a pub but i still slept very well.

Lovely large room with en suite. The bed was really comfortable. The staff’s were really friendly and helpful. My son and i really enjoyed the free games room. The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance, shops, restaurants, beach, amusements and attractions.

The wall covering plates in the bathroom need refreshment as having gaps in between them. The window was not able to fully close or we didn’t know how to do that so the instructions would help.

Staff helpful, room spacious, nice bathroom with an actual bath! Attached to a good restaurant which offers a 10% discount for hotel customers. Walking distance from Hastings' old town, pubs, big commercial center with parking, beach, etc

Decor was a bit dated/tired, but that didn’t impact on the quality of my stay.

Comfortable bed, good facilities. Actual coffee bags instead of instant were a nice touch. Staff communication both ahead of and during the stay was excellent.

Nothing I disliked. It wasn't a Seaview, which we knew that anyway so views from the hotel were not picturesque but that was fine with us. I would say for 1 to 2 nights, this would make a good stay. It's walking distance to everything you would need in Hastings and bus services/trains are minutes away.

Friendly staff, quick checking in process. Lovely bar linked with the hotel. We didn't have food but a nice atmosphere in the bar. The room was clean, I wouldn't say modern but it has everything you would need.

We would have liked a shower mat as the base of the shower is quite slippy. The bed was a little soft for us but this is a personal preference and not a complaint at all.

We checked in easily in the restaurant next door and they checked we were ok with the front door entry code. The room was excellent - lovely and warm even though it was cold and windy outside and the room does not have double glazing. The room was tastefully decorated and well lit. There was spare tea and coffee in the hall outside which was appreciated. The room was in a perfect location for the town centre - we cut through the car park opposite to the shopping centre to avoid the rain and wind.
