The location, although among other houses, is very peaceful with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. All was spotless and comfortable. We received a warm welcome from Bharat. He served us a delicious cooked breakfast, plus cereals, fruit and yoghurt, toast etc. We can thoroughly recommend this excellent B&B

Nothing to dislike. The only thing I would mention is that the walk into the town is downhill and easy, but obviously quite a climb back up!

Torlands is set in a beautiful location with magnificent views. It is about 20mins walk down into Monmouth town centre. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and catered for our every need. They even left a card and chocolates for my husband as I’d mentioned it was his birthday. Our room was large and very comfortable with an excellent ensuite. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked and plentiful including a variety of cereals yogurt, fruits and juices. The property is spotlessly clean and there is a large comfortable sitting room and wrap around outside balcony for guests use where the amazing views can be appreciated. Our first impressions on arrival were “wow”!!! It has to be one of the loveliest b an bs we have ever stayed in. Terrific value for money too.

We were given a warm welcome from our host, Bharat. Lead into a very comfortable, clean and spacious bedroom with spacious ensuite bathroom and ample wardrobe, and cupboards. Shown the comfortable lounge and dining / breakfast room and.immediatley saw the exceptional balcony with stunning views across the hills across whole of the front of house. Sun came out too. We were then left to enjoy and relax using any of the facilities shown, which we did. Breakfast was freshly cooked with all the fruit juices , cereals, freshly brewed coffee or Tea and breakfast options offered,all excellent and on time. We would definitely return.

So peaceful, spectacular views and such a warm and personable greeting. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. En suite facilities immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. So much choice from cereals, yogurt, toast and cooked food. Cooked breakfast perfect with obviously high quality ingredients. This place has really struck a cord with us and would happily stay again soon.

Nothing really, it's a nice little downhill walk into town to find some good places to eat, but a steep walk back up, so be prepared.

The town centre is a hilly walk to get to and from.

There is a garage for easy cycle parking. There is a terrace area with excellent views. Breakfast really good. Lots of space for guests to relax indoors.
