To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe stairs. This is a guesthouse and great for one night stay over. I felt the pictures online were misleading to what it looked like in reality. I have definitely stayed at places where the photos of the room are closer to the reality and cost less.

United KingdomParking was tricky due to the number of work vans taking up several spaces and we had to pay extra to park. The bathroom was 'tired' with a cracked basin. The wall lights by the bed were not properly fixed to the wall and there was a massive crack in the ceiling.
Breakfast was very good - cooked breakfast was hot, prompt and the eggs were cooked to our different tastes. Bed was super comfy and clean. All the staff we encountered were polite, professional and helpful.

Staff were excellent and attentive. All communication with the hotel prior to arrival was great. The hotel facilities themselves are a bit dated and basic but gives you everything you need and is very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable night in Bristol.

Location excellent for bars, restaurants, transport . My initial room 27 was very noisy from outside noise. When I enquired about the possibility of moving to a quieter room they gave me room 73 which was satisfactory. Though some nights I was awakened by noisy guests which of course is no fault of the hotel.
