If I had to be picky then I would say no parking info provided prior to stay meant we parked at what we thought was the only long stay in the area, only to find on arrival that there was somewhere closer.

We were upgraded to a large room on arrival which was a nice gesture. Oat milk and fresh milk available in flasks to keep cold and a coffee machine in the room was lovely.

A creaky floor board at the end of our bed. A bit irritating but didn't spoil our stay.

The location was ideal, bang in the middle of everything. Our deluxe double was great, with an added bonus of being a ground floor room with our own little garden, with table and chairs. Room was beautiful, wet room shower (obviously catered for disabled), but was so nice. The bed was a King size and one if the most comfortable beds I have slept on. We had instant access to the bar area which was handy. Lovely white towelling robes although we didn't get to use them. Breakfast was very well organised and very enjoyable. Good adequate size plateful of the English breakfast which was just right, but great menu choice of other breakfast available. Friendly staff and Gemma was lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

There could have been a toilet brush provided in the bathroom and the heating was a bit hit and miss. Lighting was quite dim.

Great little pub accommodation, brilliant location for our dinner at the brewery visitor centre. Very welcoming, beautiful, clean facilities and breakfast in the morning tasted great! Thank you.

The pillows are a bit like concrete (but I am really fussy about pillows so it might just be me)

The bar staff were really friendly when I arrived. Room (standard double) was lovely and the bathroom is huge! Bed very comfortable, proper coffee machine as well as a kettle and you can get fresh milk from the bar. Breakfast was fabulous - great sausages :-)

I would definitely stay at the Sun Inn again if I was in Faversham. Ideally located for the Theatre.

The breakfast was very disappointing, probably due to the quality of ingredients, rather than the preparation. The sausage was pappy, the toast uneatable and the fried egg white was not fully cooked. This was not reported at the time as I do not believe anything could have been done at that time to improve it. I did however report to the staff that the shower in my room would not run hot, although the bath did, and that was fine.

The location, staff and room were excellent for my needs and the bar very welcoming with the beer well kept and served with a smile and a chat. Reception on arrival was particularly good although it was obviously a very busy time in the bar/restaurant and a couple had checked in just before me, I felt that I was given all the care and attention that was required and made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Also given clear advice on car parking. An historic and interesting Inn located within easy walking distance of the town centre, car parks, theatre and facilities.

Bath tap - cold tap wasn't working and hot tap was scalding so we couldn't have a bath! - we tried to cool the water with the shower hose but set to cold it ran quite warm...... We found the pillows very firm and really lumpy, making it hard to get to sleep

relaxed, friendly staff, clean comfortable room, well furnished

It was a little noisy at pub closing time but that really is to be expected on a Saturday night and expect creaky floorboards from the upstairs floor as this is a very old building. Softer pillows would have been better for me.

Location was excellent, room was really lovely with everything we needed, we were upgraded to a superior room which was great with plenty of room, although no bath which was a shame, but we knew that. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We also had lunch there which was delicious.
