I had booked a twin room , my friend & I are retired plus I am disabled , so it was a struggle for me to get up 2 flights of stairs. I was told twin rooms are on first floor which is a pity

Room was a good size , beds very comfortable , breakfast was very good , staff very friendly, Location was excellent as only a short walk to Ocean Road , where there are lots of restaurants to choice from , there is plenty of choice at reasonable prices . During the day, Colemans Chip shop on Ocean Rd is famous for their fish & chips, the batter is very light , it closes around 6pm, at lunch hour there is a queue out on to the street - you have been warned ! Easy walking distance from hotel to beach and all the amusement area for kids . Plenty of parking spaces too

We had been travelling for some time and to be honest we were quite shattered. So after a quick shower we decided to get our heads down for the night...so we pulled back the sheets to find multiple hairs on the bedsheets and underside of the duvet ....took video and photos to mention ...we were tired so we wiped the bed and slept. The next morning we spoke to staff about the hairs , they were dumbfounded about this but offered us free breakfast to compensate the problem...Still doesn't answer why the bed and duvet were full of hairs 🤔

They've taken a £100 safety deposit on the arrival, which was unexpected. The paint was coming off the walls and windows, carpet was dirty, bathtub was scratched so it looked dirty. The fan in the bathroom didn't work properly.

Walls in our room were dirty with flaky plaster and paint falling off, room was on the small side and very hot during the night, did not sleep well, yet the radiator was not on and it was not warm outside. Two seagulls were nesting on the roof outside our window. Doors at the top of stairs were dirty needed a good clean.The new Adham bar was not a patch on the previous bar, mostly empty with no atmosphere, very disappointed and would think twice about booking again

hopefully the renovation work will mean better sound-proofing between rooms. I had the unfortunate experience of hearing both sides of a telephone conversation from my room.

We were upgraded to suites due to some renovation work taking place in some other rooms. This did not disturb our stay as they stopped at 5pm. Staff were very accommodating to our needs and found space for our bikes.

I had Lasagne in the restaurant it wasn't great.

The hotel itself looks very nice from outside or all hall /reception area are renovated and look amazing; however we stayed on 113 and the room was way far from our expectations. Beds are comfortable but bathroom.looked very old and dirty.

Although it is decorated nicely, it feels a little bit like it was a rush job? Cracks in the wall painted over etc and our bathroom was a little dated. It worked perfectly fine though and we had a great stay.

Hotel is in the process of being slowly upgraded. The only bar available was internal so no natural light and not comfortable.

Both dinner and breakfast were well-cooked and nicely presented. Wine was well-priced. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The sink was blocked in the bathroom so we had to use the bath tap for water to wash our face and brush our teeth. In the morning, the light would shine through the edge of the blinds at the windows which is only an issue if you are a light sleeper and wake up easily to the light.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel as it is situated by the Pier and my room had a stunning view of the park. It was a very comfortable sleep and the Family room was incredibly spacious.

The bed could have been a little bigger

The room was a nice size. The double bed was slighlty on the small size but good enough for a good nights sleep. The breakfas was great and the staff were very accomodating for any special requirements.

It's situated close to a road that had boy racers in loud cars late on, could do with curtains as well as roller blinds.

The Staff are really friendly and helpful.
