Car parking difficult when you have several inconsiderate parkers. Neighbour across (2 metres away) had TV blasting with window open, late into night.

When you get in the building , it's more impressive than the outside. Room was big.

The lack of clinealiness bad reviews are genuine. Both the single and double room I have seen had black mold in bathroom, around windows and the single also had black mold patches on the ceiling. Unvacummed dirty carpets in both room. Unpleasant smell - in the single room just humidity I think, in the double I couldn't tell at first. I assumed it was the old dirty carpet because the bedding smelled fresh and wooden furniture were fairly new. Later I learnt it was the shower curtain in the bathroom. Once white, now mostly brown curtain absolutely stunk. It was I think a machine washable fabric one that hasn't been washed in a long time and with no window and no extractor fan in the bathroom is probably always damp. You have a shower and you just gag. The mattress in double room was rather comfortable, the single room was lumpy with springs sticking out - shows you that single rooms aren't just less space but lower quality facilities and single travellers are disposable. Looks like this is the future of hotels in the UK, dirty and undercleaned as owners cut corners to line their pockets. Seems a clear case of overworked cleaning staff being told to just do the basic (clean towels, bedding) and not bother with anything else.

The single room I was given had something beeping in it every 2min so they gave me a new room. No single rooms left so got a free upgrade to a double. Fairly smooth process, friendly staff. Comfy bed in the double room. Clean bedding and towels.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi service was reliable. The bathroom was clean, with adequate supplies. This was good value for the price paid. I will return again.

In a twin room, 1 bed was not very comfortable with a lumpy mattress, but the other bed was great. For the drink making facilities, the kettle didn't stay on without me holding it, and I didn't have a spoon to stir the drink. TV was only basic channels, not a smart TV.

Excellent staff, very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Spacious room and bathroom. The pillows were great, as was the shower. Perfect local location with car park. Breakfast was extra and I hadn't included it on my booking, but it was not a problem when I asked to have it the next morning. A lovely help yourself buffet with lots of choice. Great value for money!

Thr rooms were not spotless, lots of dirty marks on walls and doors, the hallway smells musty when you walk through.

The property/rooms would benefit from some outlay to improve the general maintenance as it’s feeling a bit tired. The soap dispenser was empty in the shower/bath, which wasn’t easily remedied when we forgot our wash bag and your under the shower 😂

The location for our needs was perfect. Great value for money. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast options. Clean, modern and tidy lounge and reception area. Good pre-match entertainment and food for local and live televised games.

The room hospitality tray had not been replenished and the corridor lighting outside the room was not working making it difficult to enter the key code provided for the room.

A room was available at the last minute and was required because of severe disruption on the railways. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and it was only a few minutes taxi ride from the station.

Ground floor room but no net curtains. Carpark outside & people roaming about with ciggies or on their phone. It was v. hot but I had to keep curtains closed in the morning while getting dressed. 4 pillows but all the same - would be good to have choice of firm & squashy. Loo flush inadequate (mentioned to reception). Thick dust on skirting boards: behind bedside table (had to move it to retrieve fallen item), & around basin & loo. Full length mirror not well placed in the corner with a chair blocking it. TV & mirror ideally need to swap places. Mirror would be better just outside bathroom door, & near wardrobe. No handy hooks anywhere (but I understand the risks of providing them). Had to use bathroom door handle for towel & bathrobe, but then they draped on the floor. Nowhere to hang up towels to dry except over desk chair. Nowhere to place anything in bathroom: neither around the basin nor within the shower. At least a shelf under the mirror would be better than nothing. Not enough coat hangers in wardrobe. Not enough drawer space for clothes. No ideal space to keep tea making stuff ready for use which I found at the bottom of the wardrobe; desk had my things on it; bedside tables a bit small but just about sufficed. Desk chair comfy but arms didn't fit under desk, so couldn't open the drawers without pulling the chair right out. No suitcase rack for unpacking case/rucksack & keeping it off the floor; this would be a real benefit (room for one under the TV).

Nice size comfy bed. Good wardrobe space. Good bedside table with drawer & shelf. Easy to use shower. Great to have wifi. Adequately sized TV for bed viewing. Good to have full length mirror. Nice touch light on bathroom mirror. Great that breakfast could be an addition of choice as I rarely eat in the morning. Comfy chairs in reception/dining area. Great location, easy to find: reasonable walk to the town centre & railway station. Easy to find bus stops only a few mins walk away.

Room had some maintenance issues, missing lightbulbs and etc. Also very stuffy, the window didn't open and there was only a fan.
