Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOverall i would say it is more of 3 star standard of hotel. No lunch options offered for example. Lift hasn't worked for 2 years.
Breakfast was served at the table and was good. Room was very much larger than expected. WIFI signal was strong. Pizza served from the pizza oven was excellent. Staff were all very helpful.

United Kingdomwould expect a hotel of this standard to have air con but unfortunately they don’t. they do provide a fan though. it’s a event hotel so sometimes there are parties like prom or birthday events, which can be loud if you book a room near the function space, but they generally don’t run late at all and everyone is very respectful

New ZealandThe carpet in our room was badly stained and the lift wasn’t working which meant having to carry our bags up to the second floor. It was a bit of a maze trying to find our room.
Bed was extremely comfortable and the view from one bedroom window was to the beautiful park like grounds. Shower was excellent and toiletries provided were very nice. Great to be able to make a cup of tea in our room.

Lovely gardens, good food, comfortable room and friendly staff. Had all the things you would need in the rooms which were bright and spacious. It was quiet despite being next to a busy road.

United KingdomBreakfast - I chose an omelette - to include ham, onion, peppers & tomato. When it came, the onion, peppers, tomato and ham were not in the omelette, but more like a side salad on the omelette (ie.. not cooked, just cold add ons). So I just ate the plain, flat omelette. That was really disappointing. I also had to send back my hot chocolate as it tasted off. The gentleman serving table was excellent, I cannot fault him. It is the chef/cook who let the side down. As breakfast was included in the costs I feel a bit disappointed but, everything else was lovely and all of the staff very polite, friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay again -but may give breakfast a miss.

United KingdomIf I could improve anything, it would be the showers in the bathrooms, I'm not a massive fan of "over the bath" showers, some people that have mobility issues would potentially struggle getting in and out of them.
Stayed here several times, so know what to expect. The up-graded rooms are definitely a bit nicer, generally bigger and a bit better furnished. Food in the restaurant is always good, and breakfast is always lovely. The hotel is in a nice setting with good free parking. Its often good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. The staff always seem pleasant, especially the guy that is normally looking after people in the restaurant.

United KingdomThe lift wasn’t working. These things happen we know. The electrical appliances in our room hadn’t been tested in over a year, tv, iron, kettle and fridge. A desk light hadn’t been checked since 2019 and the electric fan hadn’t any PAT sticker on it at all!!!! Not very reassuring. Stayed in room 48.
Pleasant accommodation in nice grounds. All the staff we met were all pleasant, friendly and welcoming.
