Had to hunt down the staff when we arrived, it was 8:30pm..could of done with a bell at reception or a number ro ring. Overall though it's a nice place to stay.

The duvets had lots of stains on them underbthe cover Only got 1 towel and 1 hand towel for twin room View was sludge And the pool and changing facilities were poor including boiling hot shower if even slightly turned to hot Breakfast area very dull and not welcoming luckily staff were lovely

Building work ongoing as hotel being revamped. It will be lovely when it’s finished. Pool and spa area very dated but again, if this is being refurbed also it could be amazing.

Nice hotel for a last minute overnight stay. Staff brilliant and breakfast was really very good!

The hotel is currently undergoing very expansive and disruptive renovations which are greatly needed and good to see the investment but we weren’t informed of this prior to our visit. Also the breakfast left something to be desired. The single member of staff serving at breakfast was only interested in taking payment, at which point the service ended, we were seen to a table or given any information about breakfast. Hopefully this improve a long with the building works.

The fact the on site workman doing the refurbishment were allowed to take all the breakfast stuff and to wander behind the serving trays in full workwear!!

Let down by the difficulty locating the apartments, lack of signage or email advice. I arrived without the vital code words to enter the building. Was only helped by asking others. The first night I went down the street for a meal, making sure I took the electronic door device. On returning my attention was drawn to a notice on the outside of the front door telling me that my electronic device may not work and if so, enter the building through the car park, after entering the secret code into the electronic panel. Had I known that information earlier I would have taken the secret code with me, expecting as I was to use the electronic device. I spent two hours in the dark and cold waiting for another occupant to let me in. I have been told this is not uncommon, but unfortunately it soured the whole exoperience..

On initial walking into the hotel, a smell of dampness hits you immediately which is not a pleasant welcome. In the room itself, I opened the window and was shocked to see a lot of dirt, dust and cobwebs around the window frame. Overall the hotel looked tired and dated and would benefit from an upgrade and a very good all-round clean.

Good value for money and an ideal location for allowing us to visit our grandchildren. The room was large with a very nice ensuite.

Hotel was being renovated. So had to walk up and down several flights of stairs to get to our room. Was like walking through a building site with all the mats down. Room didn't feel finished either. Had random bits of wood that looks like they should have had bedside lamps on. No fridge in the room.

I found the bar food was niche, very limited and not to my liking, hence went elsewhere.

The room was very clean and modern, the bed was comfortable, excellent bathroom. I liked the swimming pool, the water was a nice warm temperature.

Restaurant closed due to refurbishment, long walk up some stairs, along a corridor and back down another flight of stairs to our ground floor bedroom as downstairs corridor was closed due to refurbishment. Breakfast room somewhat tired as yet to be refurbished.

Lovely refurbished bedroom with luxurious shower room. Plenty of space.
