We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOnly downside was the only gluten free dessert available at dinner was sorbet, but otherwise it was all great!
Lovely room and beautiful sea view from our balcony, we could watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed watching the chain ferry with a cocktail, from the bar terrace as well. Good selection for breakfast and they kindly cooked my gluten free breakfast separately to avoid cross contamination.

United KingdomThe ensuite is quite small, which, in a way is to be expected, but, the toilet roll is behind you. I do think that a better position could be found for it. The manager was a little too present. If you are going to have a word or prompt your staff, do it subtly. You do not need to embarrass the staff.
The room had an ensuite. The bed was lovely and comfortable, as well as being very large. The view from the room was amazing. I could sit on the balcony for hours just chilling with a glass or two. The hotel itself is old and it is lovingly cared for. They have kept a lot of old features in the hotel which reminds you of a time past. The view from the bar, restaurant and breakfast area's, again, are superb. The check in and out was made very straight forward and demonstrated good knowledge and experience.

United KingdomI am a key worker and came away for a much needed quiet break. This did not happen because the fire alarm kept going off. I was enjoying a glass of wine and reading my book...next minute i am standing outside for ages in the freezing cold. Later that evening when i was having a bath the alarm went off again and i had to get out of the bath!! My much needed peaceful night away didn't happen.

Location is central to most of attractions, staff extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. Hotel room very spacious and clean with a stylish decor. I would give 10/10 if I could only have a room with a harbour or sea view. The lady at the reception explained that rooms with a view were all booked. Spa - I would highly recommend facial and massage experience. Overall I would come back next time.

United KingdomBar staff needed training a bit more as they struggled with the till and the drinks, only 1 larger on tap as they had run out of peroni. Not very good. Also main menu for dinner wdid not have a very big selection and very expensive, after the first night we ate out every lunch and dinner.
The hotel was lovely, staff was helpful and friendly. Was going to book the sandbanks hotel but i would recommend this hotel. We paid for a balcony and sea veiw which was well worth the money.

United KingdomIt is possibly worth telling guests who are on the 3rd floor area which has no lift access that this is the case in advance. It was a struggle getting my bags up - I would have done two trips if I had known. Water pressure in the taps was very low which was a pain for hand washing.
Room was lovely although a bit of a hike from the reception. Loved the sea views and private beach, easy to park and beautiful decor. Breakfast was great, but the evening meals were amazing and service was great too.

United KingdomGuests unable to make dinner (not good value for money) bookings as no times available. Bathroom pathetically small. Bath difficult to use. Shower over bath awkward. Water leaked through glass screens. Toilet seat was loose then wrongly aligned. Toilet much too close to wall - very small afterthought bathroom. No proper soap dish. No accessible shelves. Extractor fan too loud. Towel rail not working- had failed and was not put right. Difficult to dry towels as a result. Patio style sliding door to balcony dangerous as it was possible to trap fingers when opening. Nasty step to enter and return balcony. Significant draft. One enormous heavy armchair totally unsuited to room size and shape. Another very heavy chair at desk which completely obstructed movement in the room and was very difficult to replace after use. Safe mounted and ground level in dark wardrobe. Impossible to use without laying on the floor!
