To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BelgiumElevator was broken and toilets weren't working on my floor. The showers are separated from the changing rooms and there's nowhere to put dry things in the showers. I would have liked to have had a plug socket near the bed and perhaps curtains for some privacy as well.

United KingdomFacilities were often out of order such as bathrooms and lifts which causes problems when carrying luggage up and down stairs. The rooms were extremely warm with no working fans/air conditioning. Although the beds itself were comfortable one small square pillow isn't ideal for a comfortable nights sleep

I was in all girls room was nice to be in with all girls but we did have 1 women who gave us all a bad cold sneezing 🤧 and stayed up all night with the light on a Ukrainian girl awaiting a flat in London she had breakfast but had no plans to visit we did so we found it difficult to sleep but we told her and she adjusted as we got tired days in our stay her being up all night n sleep all day we were out all day and trying to sleep at night 😞 but we sorted it

Private room was nice, clean, comfy enough. Breakfast was nice. It's a fifteen minute walk from King's Cross, so travel was a breeze. The staff were all super helpful and friendly.

Good value for money. Very good for 2 nights .I was with other 3 women , very nice and helpful.I ask for room as far as possible from common area / bar etc . and I got it on 5th floor .Hostel situated in nice and safe area of London.I arrieved at midnight and left both days around 8am and come back late evning. In that situation this hostel is very good. I found small convinient bathroom at the end of corridir when other girls bathroom was a little busy.

DenmarkThe water didn’t work in the morning and in the late evening - the toilets, the showers and the water from the sink in the room was turned off. we were told to go all the way to the basement to take showers. This is not acceptable, when we pay for the showers on the floor we are on.
The location was amazing. Either walking distance or tube to every hot spots in London.
